Got back from Rome this week. Booked UK for April. Looking at flights $600 round trip for non-stops to Paris and Amsterdam. Tempted by that, but probably too much travel in that time frame. Those are usually $800-$1k, though, and not non-stops. Nonstops usually run like $1,400.
