Was The Syrian Red Line Crossed?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/20...tions-chemical-attack-putting-pressure-on-us/

A chemical weapon attack in Syria killed 30ish people. The problem is both the government and the rebels are blaming the other for the attack. Does America get involved like the President said we would? Yes or No and why? Downside of your decision?

No.

Yes iff---mathematically defined as "if and only if" the target is American citizens or military.

There's no good guy in Syria. Syrians who don't want to die should just try to get out, or try to just kill anyone joining the fray. This is where people really need military assault rifles to put an end to thugs and gangs in the neighborhood.

only armed peace-loving citizens can be a persuasive deterrent to government gone wrong as well as unprincipled "rebels".

Obama just said that crap to SOUND Presidential, he's not actually the President. Don't take him too seriously.

His handlers feed him some Five Guys burgers, take him golfing and let him play with his BlackBerry (pun intended).

Didn't you read my other thread - we're going to be energy independent in another 5-10 years. Why have anything to do with that region at all? Just let them go back to cutting each other's heads off until they run out of oil and are back living in tents in the desert again .
