the nets won a bunch of games when Deron sat with ankle injuries, after that Livingston was in the starting lineup for the rest of the year, and they made their playoff push. without Livingston in the starting lineup im sure they were under .500
he did everything they asked of him, including quality minutes at 2, he did a damn good job vs D Wade in that series.
the classic appeal of livingston is always he really has the handle and passing skills to play PG, and i watched the nets a ton this year he really knows how to use his size well, whether its against a smaller player or jumping amongst the trees.
Also his recovery story is pretty amazing, just reading about that injury will send chills down your spine, he didn't just tear all 4 ligaments in his knee, his knee/ kneecap totally dislocated from the socket, his leg legitimately snapped in half, doctors initially told him to be prepared for amputation..
he is not a threat from 3 but he doesn't take bad shots, at all, his .483 FG% was only bested by Tony Parker for PG's this season, when hes on the perimeter he has his head up ready to pass or drive, he still has an explosive first step, and he can still finish over traffic. he makes winning plays, is a plus rebounder, gets steals and blocks, you can trust him with the ball or at the line (83%) during the end of games
