I think I answered in this thread but don't remember what I said.. curious but even more lazy.

Obviously.

I'd like to think I did a ten page post in here, explaining science, religion, the universe, and why I have been able to talk both cops and crooks outta messin' with me. . . .

That is obviously a masterful strategy, but you also have to make sure you have one leg sticking out as well. It also helps if you continuously perform headbutting movements while you jump/spin around just so you can cover as many levels as possible.

Also helps if you can change levels of the attacks by bending at the knee.

I'm like Carlos Boozer. I'm a bigish guy that looks like he might be able to wreck somebody but I'm softer than Charmin. I haven't been in a physical fight since my last ward basketball game in high school.

A homeless guy karate chopping my arm while I was trying to give him $5 out of the car window is about as close to a fight as I have been since I made this topic. Not that I would've fought him.....just that there was physical contact. He didn't get the $5 though.

I'm the exact same way. I'm 6'4, and I'm strong and fit, but the only way I would get into a fight is if someone straight up attacks me. I used to fight a lot as a kid, but it was never my choice, as fighting me seemed like a sort of right of passage for other kids (due to my size). I got into only one fight as an adult. I was parked outside of a friend's house waiting for her to come out, and some meth'd up guy runs to my car and starts punching the hood. I got out to stop him, and he started punching me, forcing me to fight back.

Scanned the thread real quick and see that I voted but didn't comment.

I chose 8, mainly because I believe a certain level of nihilism tends to make one more dangerous.

I tackled a dude, put him in a choke hold, and slammed his head into the pavement this week. I helped him up, told him that he was a ***** for hitting a chick, shook his hand and told him to kick rocks.

Generally I only hit people after they have hit someone else. I have hit 2 people that I can think of that didn't deserve it. One I regret. The other guy I kinda wanted to punch in the mouth for the better part of a decade. I probably shouldn't have hit him either but I haven't lost any sleep over it.

At age of 21 would have voted 10, now just 7. I was in Judo since age 14 and at 18 started Muay Thai at that time, so obviously was in much better shape than now, plus was getting into fights on more regular basis. When you don't use it - you lose it, reflexes, kicks, punches and all other automatic stuff is not working that well anymore. Same like in anything, you want to be good - you need to practice it daily and I have not done any martial arts practices for ages...

I'm feeling pretty formidable after my recent beat down of a group of oriental midgets that got lippy with me. I'd probably rate myself in the 12 to 13 range tbh.
