Very weird movie. No idea how they got this one made. I mean I would've like to be a fly on the wall during the pitch meeting.
"OK, every single character in our script is as unlikable as they come. Nobody has any redeeming qualities, nobody really learns anything. The plot makes zero sense and it'll make you want to punch one of the biggest movie stars in the world in his ****ing face. All we ask is 70 million dollars to make this thing!!"
Like almost every movie these days, you could have easily cut 30 minutes and nothing of value would've been lost. I liked the cinematography and the stunt casting was kinda amusing, but the main character was so badly written that it really took me out of the movie. Chalamet works hard but I have no idea what he was trying to say.
