What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Wow this thread was buried....anyway.


I wanted to plug "Black Phone". We never saw the first one until the 2nd one came out. My wife recently learned she likes scary movies so we checked out the trailer and decided to watch the 1st one then to the theater for part 2. Both really excellent movies, and basically together make one like really long solid movie together. This is the rare occasion that the sequel is ever bit as good as the original and really felt like another chapter of the first. They tie together so well. Great premise, and excellent execution. Yeah there are definitely suspension of disbelief moments but the movies are so entertaining that it isn't very problematic. Highly recommended.
 
I'm looking forward to a family outing to watch Nuremberg, my family is half German so it will be good fun for them to see their grandparents on the screen again.

I liked the first one quite a bit. I guess I will check out the second one.

Saw One Battle After Another. Thought was quite good. Didn't like the first half hour or so but loved the rest of it.

Paul Thomas Anderson has made some films. I've listened to some great stuff by Tarantino about his relationship with PTA, and how it has pushed him to be a better director and make better films.
 
My daughter asked us to watch K-Pop Demon Hunters with her recently. It was really weird and I didn't enjoy it much, but I expected worse.
