why would i have faith in a team that has been losing on purpose for three years? do i believe in ace? after last night's showing? he's athletic but the mistakes he makes are downright silly. walker and jjj? the same walker that vocally said he was disappointed in the contract he was offered? how about lauri, he's been injured more than he's been healthy. or was that all just lies. i don't know what to think. they might be great, it might have been a big smoke screen but when a team is lying to get better draft picks they are lying to the fans too. (it's funny how we say throwing a boxing game is the core of evil but tanking an entire season of games THAT ARE GAMBLED ON is a good strategy.)

Maybe the OP should have asked us all to use our imaginations and maybe given us 8 options with 4 scenarios for each team. Instead he gave us 2 specific groups of players. I'm betting most people assumed those 5 being together for each group in 2 years was at least a reasonably likely scenario and didn't dream up all the iterations that might happen, since that wasn't the scenario given. But yeah if we imagine the jazz signing all the mvps still playing on the league and striking gold with #1 picks the next 2 years, then there's no way we can't win!
I think you’re thinking too narrowly.

@Park Bites got the ‘essence’, or the ‘heart’ of what the question was asking.

Unfortunately you didn’t…

No chocolate factory for you my friend.

You’ve got to be smoking something real strong to put your hard earned cash on a tanking team…

The essence was the question itself. You could have added any nuance you wanted, and you didn't. You can't claim some kind of mystical spiritual connection to a question that is stated completely black and white. And apparently 70% of the people got it that way. Go change the question if you want delivery philosophical discussions. But don't expect everyone to understand what's going on in your fever-dream "brain".

Park Bites understood it.

Faith is believing in something even though the evidence is to the contrary…

You either have faith in the Jazz or you don’t.. evidence is not necessary.
So fantasy, gotcha. Or psychosis. They both fit equally well.

Team B is a playin team at best unless we add a realiable secondary ball handler to this lineup. I'm not even sure if Key should be the primary ball handler long term. He's best working alongside aother ball handler. Collier is good but his size, shooting and defense flexibility leave a lot to be desired. Black would've been good but he's now out of our reach after the JJJ acquisition. Maybe Wagler?
