Given where the Jazz are in their rebuild and how the Jazz's young talent is developing, which players do you think are most likely to still be with the team three years from now?

There is no limit to the number of players you can select in the poll.

Here's what I have ---

TIER 1
** Ace Bailey is someone the Jazz will try to develop into a primary offensive player all the way through his second contract, or longer, if Ace will stay in Utah, imo.
** Walter Clayton Jr. is showing he's a steady backup point guard, even as a rookie. If the Jazz can mold him and keep him cost-controlled, he's easy to keep.
** I think Filipowski could be a keeper long term. A 6'11" big with ball skills and IQ makes him a valuable complementary player. He adds value as a passer and rebounder, as well as a floor spacer, so he should be a good role player. It's not often easy to acquire this type of player.
** Kessler is establishing himself as a significant player, and he's bound to receive a big second contract. Is he the type of 5 the Jazz really want, especially when he becomes expensive? I'll say 'maybe' for now. He has some limitations, but there's too much to his game to move him unless the Jazz have something better lined up.

TIER 2 -- I do not have confidence in these young players actually staying with the team, for various reasons:
** Keyonte is gaining confidence and improving as a play initiator, but I could see the Jazz trading him rather than give him the type of extension his camp is likely to want. Or perhaps they do extend him, but with the intention to move him within a year or two thereafter. His defensive awareness and effort on that end are improving. The shooting efficiency probably remains the main question. His ability to play both on and off the ball gives him some versatility. He could go either way for me.
** Brice is proving he's a high-caliber shooter and floor spacer, but he's fairly limited when he's not scoring the ball. He's an NBA player, but he's a bit one-dimensional and I'm not sure how much a priority he's going to be long term.
** Taylor is coming off a major setback with his injury, so it's not fair to overly judge. However, he's limited enough offensively that I'm not confident he's a priority long term either. He'll have some value in the league as a long 3D wing. Perhaps that's enough for the Jazz to want to keep him, but I'm not convinced he's really a priority yet.

TIER 3 -- Are they NBA players?
** Isaiah Collier needs to shoot well enough to play big minutes going forward.
** In theory, if everything comes together for Cody with his body and his shooting, he could be a keeper in the mold of a Herb Jones, but those are big IFs. So far, there is some improvement with his body and his handle.

I don't know how I can evaluate Hendricks so far. He's obviously still years away, but he's also basically played no meaningful basketball.

part of the equation is how much money players demand. Jazz cannot pay every one of these guys so tough decisions will need to be made.

Ace and Clayton are still on their rookie contracts 3 years from now so they should probably not be in this poll. Not voting for them doesnt make much sense (unless you wanna say one of them is the next Cody).

Keyonte is the obvious #3 on the list. Hardy and the FO seem much more infatuated with him they are with Kessler, and his contract date is also 1 year later. Flip looks nice but if the progress stops I can much more easily seem him being moved than Keyonte, who is right now looking like the most likely future starter caliber player not named Lauri or Walker.

I was surprised to see Hendricks getting so few votes. He slots in a role player pretty well.
I think since the question is "most likely", some chose 1 while others chose 2, 3 or maybe even more.

I did not vote for him since I decided to limit my "most likely" to 3.. and he wasnt in my top 3.

Hendricks is nowhere close to an NBA role player currently. His lack of defense and ball handling makes him a 0 on both ends and he needs to dramatically improve both or he'll be out of the league.
I mean he’s 7 games back from one of the most horrific injuries ever, so maybe give him some time. But I agree, if this is what we’re going to get he’s not long for the league.

I mean, yeah, we have a couple years to evaluate Hendricks, but nothing so far in his career has given reason for optimism. Hopefully he can develop as a defender and a ball handler because his shooting+size is nice, but we'll see.

I don't know if it's an intentional strategy compared to Ace just being terrible so far. If Harper or VJ were here, they would be getting 35+ minutes a night based on how they played, lol.

I do think it's obviously going to be a shock for Ace to have him mentally transition from "I am going to be the best basketball player who ever lived when I grow up" (which he clearly held as of the draft last year) to "your future is a role player who defends and hits spot-up threes and occasionally dunks." Not sure how to best handle that mentally as Ace pretty clearly has always thought he was going to be as good as Durant one day.
