The more I think about it, the more I like Kasparas Jakucionis at 5. A 6'6" Point guard who just has great vision and a great overall offensive game even if he is slightly underwhelming athleticism wise. He certainly gets to the rim and draws fouls at a great rate. A 6'6" PG would also be great from a team building perspective. Imagine a Jazz team where the smallest guy is Kas.

It does kind of feel like 3-5 will be some order of VJ, Ace, and Tre. I don't love that we get last pick and kind of have to hope that the teams in front of us pick the wrong guy.

As the guy who drafted VJ for the 76ers in the mock draft, their situation is really messy with Embiid uncertain and the decline of PG. I believe VJ doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. He can be a defensive disruptor with his 10/10 athleticism and provide some of the more ancillary things the team needs. They already have on ball juice with Maxey and McCain. VJ gives them a 3rd guard that provides a different but unique skillset. Plus I think he is just a better overall player than Ace.
VJ is ahead of Ace at this point for sure. And I think after the combine measurement came out, even Tre is about to overtake Ace.

For the Koncels out there. Why Kon, but not Kas?

@Handlogten's Heros @Bodhi
He sucks and his name doesn’t sound like a part of the female anatomy.

For real… ball didn’t go in enough. He kinda fell off. The decision making… and I think he’s a worse defender. I’m fine with Kas but Kon is the ****.

can someone sum up the Tre Johnson vs VJ Edgecombe for me ? Hearing so many varied opinions

I'm still trying to figure out VJ somewhat but here is my take.

Tre Johnson:
Elite Shooting (Both midrange 2s and 3s)
High 3 point volume
Great Shooter both on ball and offball, both catch and shoot as well as off the dribble. Great percentages all around (jumper wise)
rarely got downhill, rarely drew free throws
potentially an ok defender but not good right now.
Occasionally was tunnel visioned but also showed some great flashes of passing as well
Did not turn the ball over much, good AST/TO ratio
decent ball handler

VJ Edgecombe:
Elite Athleticism (common sentiment I have heard is that its only half a step down from Thompson Twin athleticism)
Good at catch and shoot 3s
Decent driving downhill but a little wanting for how athletic he is
shaky ballhandling
Great in transition
Great defensive playmaker
High Motor

In general, Tre feels a bit more actualized in what he is going to be while I still see massive room for growth for VJ (who is already quite a good player).
If VJ could harness his athleticism a bit more on offense, we could be looking at an amazing 2 way guard who contributes in all aspects.
And Tre has his own sky high potential to be one of the best shooters in the nba.
Also have heard great things about the character and work ethic of both players from guys like Sam Vecenie and Givony

I quite like both of them.
If anybody thinks I have missed something or got something wrong, feel free to correct.
