2018 Prediction Contest Winner
I think everyone agrees that in normal conditions (like if KD don't get killed in the half season or something) Oklahoma will finish our division first. But the rest of the teams are really close to each other.

Denver crushed Dallas (which i still think they aren't that good as the media exaggarates) ,

Minnesota played really good, i have seen the second half and i was really impressed especially by Rubio. He is the closest candidate to ROY for what i have seen so far but i thanked God once more today that we didn't pick D Williams. He seems really confused in the court, when he has the ball he can't create anything, just make random weird moves, he is all about finishing with strong dunks and chucking some 3s when he is in the mood which he wasn't today. And Rick Adelman seems like he gave a shape to this garbage team, i don't expect Minny to go to playoffs , but they will not suck like the past years.

Portland seems like they are almost same as last year. They are a good team but not a very good team now like everyone expected them to be few years ago.

And Utah, as everyone else, i am really curious how we will do, and i think we will see the hints for the season tomorrow. But anyway i don't think we are much better of much worse than any team in the west. Especially in our division if we consider OKC is one level upper, the other teams seem really close to each other and i believe there will not be more than 5 games between 2nd and 5th team in this group.

So i am curious what are the predictions?

(i will vote after i see Utah's game tomorrow as i think thats what most people are gonna do)

i realized now i missed the 'd' in surprised, for the attention of whom considering to give spelling lectures.
 
Its honestly very difficult to say.

Nuggets still have a few of their players overseas. Otherwise, they have quite a deep roster, and a great bench. However, as a team I would say that their ceiling is limited, unless Arron has a breakout season. Portland is essentially in the same boat. Im assuming the Jazz will pick up 4th in the division, but one thing that is never taken into account for is injuries. What happens if Nene is injured? Or Aldridge? The Jazz are pretty deep at nearly every position, and I feel like they can handle this 66 game season better than the other three teams. However, it is very tough to say as of this point. Way to many unknowns
 
i am talking about normal conditions, like without any long and significant injuries. But i think Minnesota isn't worse than Portland or Denver. They played pretty good today. They don't have a superstar but they have a bunch of very good players
 
Without injuries, it goes OKC, Denver, and us. I don't think Portland lasts. And Minny is perpetually a work in progress.
 
Well, I guess OKC will be second since the Jazz are going to win. Favors turns into an all-pro, Burks wins ROY and Hayward continues his ascension into sainthood. Oh yeah, and Millsap and Jefferson have solid years as supporting players.

Denver! They will be similar to last year after the merlo trade, good but not great!
