Cody will be the best player in 5 years. The biggest surprise that we got him will be Filip.
Nobody knows the future and we are amateurs with no training on how to discern the players' potential. However, the best guess on this would be using the collective wisdom of the best drafting professionals in the NBA, which is revealed through the draft picks order. In short, players drafted with the 3rd pick will most likely end up better then players drafted at the 10th picks etc.
Given that the most likely outcome on who will be better in 5 year is:
1.Taylor Hendricks (9)
2. Cody Williams (10)
3. Keyonte George (16)
4. Brice Sensabaugh (28)
5. Isaiah Collier (29)
6. Kyle Fillipowski (32)
7. Kenneth Lofton (undrafted)

I didn't want to start a new thread to post this- so I'll just insert it here as an interesting side note to our 2024 draft. I wanted to look up a Big Board from before the draft to remind myself of how each of our picks were projected. I didn't realize I clicked on one from 6 months ago-- and was surprised as I scrolled through it to see that all 3 of our picks were rated top 10 at that time (with Filipowski highest at 7).
Reading the scouting reports on them at that time was interesting. Filipowski's playmaking and versatility were highlighted- and I found another clip I will also post showing how much confidence his coach had in his playmaking....
