What's new

Who will be the next head coach of the Utah Jazz?

That's too many years in the future to even closely predict now. Could be a current NBA player or some up and coming assistant coach who is just now cutting his NBA coaching teeth. Only time will tell, but it won't be anytime soon.
Given the Jazz loyalty to coaches the next one is probably in diapers right now.

Are you talking about George Karl?

Yes sir!

I was going to mention Karl, then decided:

do-not-want.jpg

Why?

He is the best choice to coach a winning team for me. He got one of the best winning record in NBA among coaches and won the COTY award last year. He set a franchise record with Nuggets last year but their stupid FO was not happy with him for not playing Shaqtin a fool prone McGee enough. Cause they gave millions of dollars to McGee and he was making them look like a stupid with playing Koufos instead of him.

Yes, that association between Karl and Nuggets didnt pan out well in playoffs with a first round exit against Warriors but Gallinari was injured and GSW was shooting way better than them the 3 ball. While Nuggets have poor shooters like Brewer, Miller, Igoudala -but looks like he is shooting way better right now with the Warriors- , other side have Curry, Thompson, Jack. Also Lawson shot %19 behind three line on that series. GSW was a mismatch for them they outsmarted them and executed better at half court and won the series in 6 game. He did everything he could to win as possible games in regular season with a young team but that team didnt have that "it factor" to be a good playoff team. I don't think he is the only one that should get blame for that.

Jazz are loyal and not sure if they have ever fired a coach under the Millers. I think Corbin is there until he wants to leave.

Can we plead... Cry... Offer car dealerships for Jeff Hornacek?

How the hell did we let him slip through our hands?

Gale miller was left with a large void when Larry died...

Just sayin.

To contribute, what are the odds if getting Phil Johnson a try? Think he'd do it?

Sent from your moms room.... While she was sleeping.

The good thing for the Fire Ty crowd is that he's not meeting his defense objectives. Lindsey holds his ground well, I wager that if the season continues like this, Ty is gone

I want a veteran guy with success at the NBA level. Hollins is my first choice, but landing Karl or Van Gundy would be a significant upgrade. I think that the current young talent plus some new assets next year will make the Utah job very desirable to veteran coaches who are willing to build a winning program down the road.

The anTy-Christ couldn't get this team to play good defense.

Iguodala shooting 48% on almost 5 tries per game through 5games this season. Simply a question of having a passing guard for him.
