Why are liberals so annoying?

Honestly, I find that both sides are full of morons. When I was younger, I used to be seriously irked by most of my conservative-counterprts; now I've found that many of my friends who liberal, like myself, are equally angering. They do anger me in different ways though; I feel like some of my right-wing counterparts lack logic, whereas some of my left-wing counterparts are smug to a nauseating degree. Neither is better, really.

You need to be more transparent and divulge the age group you are interacting with. This sounds like stereotypical undergrad love for relativism.

I find that many conservatives are very open minded as long as you agree with everything they think and say. I'd say more but don't want to flame the hatred.

You can interchange these words and the sentence still holds true.

The difference is that conservatives typically have a known set of values and beliefs and readily admit these up front. Liberals claim to be open minded and accepting of all values and beliefs but only as far as you agree with them in many cases.

That is the problem with liberals (which I think is different than a left leaning individual). They know better than you. No matter what it is, they know how you should behave and what you should do better than you do.

Just on outward manifestations alone, I think the big consversative/liberal divide is that there is a strong term identity relationship inherent in liberalism that doesn't really exist in conservatives. Liberals want you to know they are liberal. They want you to know they are trendy. They want you to think they really do care about cars running on poop, female polar bears' reproductive health, the water level off the coast of Guam, and every other "problem" in the world that nobody cares about because they aren't as cool as them. And then when you laugh at them, they go into the bag of defensive terminology and pull out racist, bigot, or homophobe even though you were talking about the water level off the coast of Guam. **** gets old.
