Why so few topics?

Did you (Jason) recently tweak the number of topics displayed in each forum (at a time)? Right now I'm only seeing 13 topics. I'm pretty sure that up until a couple of days ago I was seeing 20-25 topics at a time. Is that user-settable at all? I couldn't find the setting, but I may have overlooked it. If not, please note that I (for one) prefer seeing more topics.

I did. It was mostly an accident. I was looking to change the board's default number of POSTS PER PAGE WITHIN A TOPIC but changed the other one as well. I can change it back since the one I really intended to change can be overridden as user-configurable in your settings.
