It’s pretty clear that Will has shown elite coaching potential, and has been willing to tank his *** off when the FO has asked him to. I’m excited about this
In my opinion, if you are going to start a thread you should include the details or at least a link to the details

I think it's a great thing.
For one thing I had heard local sports writers and radio guys saying that they think hardy would not stick around and would try to find a new job. I think it bodes well that despite the garbage he has had to deal with so far he still wants to be here

Also, yes, this absolutely signals that the Jazz are wanting to tank some more.

We dont know if that is true or not since he has had his team blown up every year. I have no idea if he is a good coach.

The release said he is signed through the 2031 season.
So what I said...
You have Association expectations in a G-League world. It's a personification of the unseen.
Unsure how good of a coach he is. I think those really supporting him may interpret that as being a hater or not acknowledging reality. I genuinely don't know. Quin is a good example that he was seen as an absolute savant until we got exposed to his patterns in deeper into the competition. It's hard to prognosticate success at the highest levels with what we see in regular competition. I'm hoping he is the real thing because us winning a title would in no small part be tied to that.
That's the "thank you" for Will's efforts this year. It sure wasn't easy losing that many games with this roster.
He seems like a good coach in general, but it's really hard to know how good he will be at the highest level when the stakes and pressure are much higher.

I mean this kind of extension kind of signals they think extremely high of him
I'm pretty sure he is a good enough coach to get us to the post season (Top 6 seed) with some reasonable talent upgrades. It's impossible to know if we could have post season success with him until we get there.
Agreed... it still doesn't mean they are right about it. I don't mind this extension... I think he's done a good job when we were trying to win and... he did a arguably even better job when we were trying to lose. It's no money out of my pocket and it's no money on the Jazz' salary cap. So... whatever...
