Would you take the Carmelo offer for dwill?

Got talking to a buddy today at work and he brought up the idea of offering dwill for the carmelo package.

- 5 first round draft pick or close to it
- favors
- probably devin Harris ( who he said he would trade to Portland for Mathews and miller)

There would probably be other minor players involved but to me it was very tempting. I think nj could still offer a big fat contract to carmelo next summer ( have verified this yet) that way nj would have the bird rights to dwill. The jazz could rebuild with some solid young talent.

Work out an additional trade to bring in granger for millsap and the jazz are looking pretty good in my opinion

This is the worst idea I've ever heard. Why would we trade the best pg in the nba for a mediocre pg and a player who hasnt proven a thing? People need to stop the dwill trade talk. He is as untouchable of a player as there is in the league.
