I know you don't agree that Favors is important to the team's success, but it seems to me that saying that Ingles is completely vital to Jazz success and culture while Favors is a hindrance is going way overboard in making this a open-and-shut case.
Joe is the third most important player on this team and he has been for two seasons. A big part of that is that no one on this team does a better job of making everything work, he has gotten better every year, and is totally reliable. That he grinded his way to success isn’t a detail, either.
I don’t think having a nuanced position in fandom (basketball is a dynamic team sport that heavily relies on fit) is that interesting, but keep taking weak shots.
