What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

it's totally obvious what kind of douche Calipari is, and the beds he's willing to lay in. You don't take the high road with Calipari.

No, I'm just playin. Oubre is not known to be a cancer, just needs to be pushed.. Not a self-driven guy like you would ideally want. Not a bad kid, just a tad entitled/lazy. And even that may be behind him.

I'm just piling on for piling on sakes with that other stuff.

Then I wouldn't be too worried; Snyder could turn him into a really useful player.

Rosters completed for World Select Team for Nike Hoops Summit.

the Select team is loaded at the 3-5 .

Ben Simmons 6-9
Tai Wynyard 6-10
Cheick Diallo 6-9
Skal Labissiere 6-11
Thon Maker 7-0

Filthy.

I don't know much about the guards other than Jamal Murray but that front line is legit. Will be a good chance for scouts to evaluate Wynyard against some good competition during the game and practices leading up to it.

I am going to go to a Labisierre game and boo the hell out of him.

Not exactly to worldly when more than half the roster plays in the US or Canada. Probably hard to get the true international guys to play since they are mostly playing on professional teams.

Have fun bro!

What was the quote?

I don't remember the exact quote but Wall was asked about Kentucky players and if he knew any of them, he said last summer he played a pickup game with Booker and was impressed by him, he said he never backed down and can be a lockdown defender.

Here's some more info on some of those prospects:

point guard in the Bruno Caboclo mold

wtf is that even supposed to mean?

Federico Mussini is supposed to be good, he's a crafty little player, but I guess the operative word here when it comes to NBA prospects is "little"... he's too small it seems. It will be interesting to watch him against actual NBA-level prospects.

His HS situation is of course quite interesting. His Prep Academy is pretty much a fraud, but he apparently is taking real classes at another private HS.

No. His school is legit. It's his basketball squad that is suspect. But they don't play ball, so not worried about it.
I'll share more if anyone cares to know.

No **** you ****ing tool.

I'm the tool? The amount of boosterism you promote on this site alone qualifies you for a tool-status that I'll never be able to duplicate. I'd hate to see what other interfaces you're also running. Get a life.

I've tried to be as nice as possible to you. Why, I have no idea.
At least I actually discuss basketball instead of just drive-by negative posts.
It's funny you feel sorry for yourself that people here are sometimes mean to you (wah), yet you keep on being a clown.
Contribute something.. Author something. Or expect the same responses to your heaping piles of hot garbage.

What Kentucky players will actually have decent pro careers?

Towns
WCS
Maybe Booker?
Granted thats still a ton of NBA talent on one team but I don't see anyone else on the team lasting in the league. Would I be correct?

Lyles?

I contribute my perspective on the jazz after every game. I repeat: I'm a fan who watches every game and then gives my honest evaluation on a few different talking points. I'm very comfortable on my record in this facet of jazzfanzing.

You've admitted to me that, from 'behind the scenes' (in other words, off-site), you run drama on this site. So, there's that. But you also contribute to different talking points. I don't doubt that you contribute (and I've never said you didn't). Like you, though, I have no problem pointing out hottt trash when I see it, and a fair amount of what I see comes from you. The "bit" and "turkish" comments are just today's variety. Is it Saturday yet?

I would say Towns is the only can't-miss.
I'd say WCS also has a good career.
Booker with a good chance as well as Lyles.

I would guess 8 make a roster and 4 have multi-year careers, with two having great careers.
This UK team isn't stacked with talent as much as it deep and unselfish.

Most of us troll a bit, for sure. Variety is good.
