Following potential 2015 draftees

This game will cause some ppl to consistently stir turmoils in this thread how D'Angelo couldn't single handedly overcome one of the most athletic teams.

OSU is mediocre. Arizona is really good. D'Angelo put the D in Deity. Nothing to see here.

Yep. Pretty much this is how it worked all season - when he went off they could beat good teams, when he didn't they lost. Not realistic for him to go off against every single opponent. Still, despite his bad shooting it's not like he was awful today.

Russell is a special player. Arizona disrupted Ohio State and a lot of Russell's shots were rushed. I'm more concerned about Johnson going 1/12 for AZ.

He played really well against a 15 seed, then couldn't hit against a better (although not great) team. His stock can be anywhere from 5 to about 10 (don't think he'd drop further than that) depending on how he does in the coming rounds.

Russell is amazing, and Ohio State is trash. Shut down D'Angelo and it's hard for them to win. I actually picked VCU over OSU for that very reason. Russell doesn't fall past 4 IMO.

Johnson is another story. I still think that he's raw offensively and figuring it out, but is solid defensively. I'm glad that he struggled today because I think he's going to fall into the Jazz range and they can get him with a slight trade up. I want guys who will fit into this new defensive identity. Stanley Johnson is a great example of a guy that I think will end up being better offensively in the NBA than in college. Especially with a good coach, I think he could have Kawhi Leonard potential.

Jazz won't have another lottery pick for awhile. I'd like to see them be aggressive with the one they have this year to get a guy that they won't be able to in the near future. Would love to see them trade up for Johnson and then turn their cash left (after buying out Tomic and Neto) plus some future 2nd round picks to buy a late 1st and grab Justin Anderson to eventually replace Millsap as the backup 3&D perimeter defender. Add two more defensive minded wings that can grow with the Core group and then bring Tomic over to fill out the big rotation.

I think the Jazz like Anderson and see some Matthews in him. But making time for two rookies while trying to make the playoffs is not going to mix.

This.

We should get guys we can't get in the free agent market. I don't want a boring pick, I want a pick we can all be excited about. Someone with some potential. Diamond in the rough, GO BIG OR GO HOME type pick.

Who's that black dude that plays in a team of all White Wisconsin team? I remembered thinking "He has potential" when I was watching Kaminsky play.
