Following potential 2015 draftees

If the Jazz can slip to 9 in the lotto, that puts them in position to trade up to 6 or 7, which could net them Hezonja or Russell.

Delon Wright so overrated IMO. Not even a 2nd round pick.

I've been feeling the same way for quite some time now. I wouldn't say he's not a 2nd round pick, but I personally wouldn't take him in the first for sure.

Really amazing how Winslow just "turned it on" all of a sudden. But it also shows how fickle a 18-19 year olds draft stock is. Went from around 12 to probably top 6 in less than a month.

Top-4 is Okafor, Towns, Russell, Mudiay in some order.

Really don't see Russell dropping especially with it being a PG league.

It depends on how the lotto shakes out, imo. Stranger things have happened. Exum was supposed to be a lock in the top 4 last year until Orly fell in love with Gordon.....and Elfrid Payton apparently.

He hasn't fallen lower than 8 on my board...

So he dropped 1 spot. Russell is projected by most to go ahead of Mudiay. I think Mudiay could be the one to drop a few spots. He's a big unknown, maybe less than Exum, but China isn't exactly Europe or the NCAA when it comes to level of competition.

I don't see Russell outside of the top 4. If the Jazz want him, they have to pay a premium price to do so. I'm still high on Stanley Johnson. Think he has some Jimmy Butler type of potential. I can see him developing into a star defender early (especially in a lineup that features Gobert, Favors, Hayward and Exum) and then figuring out his offensive game a few years down the road.

If the season ended today the lottery would look like this:

1. New York Knicks
2. Minnesota Timberwolves
3. Philadelphia 76ers
4. Los Angeles Lakers
5. Orlando Magic
6. Sacramento Kings
7. Denver Nuggets
8. Detroit Pistons
9. Charlotte Hornets
10. Indiana Pacers
11. Utah Jazz
12. Atlanta Hawks via Brooklyn Nets
13. Phoenix Suns
14. New Orleans Pelicans

Realistically the highest the Jazz could move up to is #9. The Hornets are 30-41, the Pacers are 31-41, and the Jazz are 31-41. The Nuggets are 28-45 and Pistons are 28-44.

Say the Jazz did move up to #9, I think the best 8 players are Okafor, Towns, Russell, Mudiay, WCS, Winslow, Johnson, Hezonja. All it would take is one of the teams ahead of them to fall in love with Porzingis, Kaminsky, Looney, or even Oubre for one of them to fall to us. On the flip side if we stayed at #11 we would be guaranteed one of:

Okafor
Towns
Russell
Mudiay
WCS
Winslow
Johnson
Hezonja
Porizingis
Kaminsky
Oubre

It would be awesome to end up at #9 and somehow Hezonja fell to us. Also don't think it would be all that bad to take Oubre at #11.

Was really impressed with Winslow tonight. He seemed very poised and stepped up big time at the right moments.
