Lowry anybody?

Lowry started on a tear this season then slowly started fading because of nagging injuries. He only pushed through to the allstar break to try and make the allstar team. Then at the end of the season he sat a lot of games because of back spasms. Having a bad back is not a good thing. Thats only gets worse as he gets older.

06/07: 10 games (wrist injury...I was wrong about no major injuries, although this was 8 years ago)
07/08: 82 games
08/09: 77 games
09/10: 68 games
10/11: 75 games
11/12: 47 games (equivalent of 58 games over an 82-game season)
12/13: 68 games
13/14: 79 games
14/15: 70 games

That's 576 games over 9 seasons, an average of 64. If you exclude his rookie season, as you claimed to have done in your post, it's 566 games over 8 seasons; an average of 70.75 games. If you exclude his rookie season AND adjust for the 66-game season, he's averaged 72 games per 82-game season over his last 8 seasons. This isn't rocket science.

Lol.
**** me

It's 577 over 9 seasons. That's 64.1 games per season if you exclude rookie year.

Holy ****. Even Siro is huffing glue...

This. This. This. ****.

Haha.

I screwed up because I kept miscounting 08-09 season because of how it was listed.

Regardless. The dude isn't an iron man. He misses games every year, and he's getting older.

He also is the most efficient shooter. Shoots 41% for his career.

Like you said. It isn't rocket science. It's 577.

Edit: Or did you mean it's over 8 seasons? Haha. I'm an idiot. It is over 8 seasons.

I saw people talking about 9 seasons, so I added up the numbers ASSUMING it was over 9 seasons. But obviously it is 577 over 8 seasons. Sorry.

I like Lowry. To be honest I think Burke is a good comparison. Lowry is undersized, scoring-minded, and took him a while to reach his PG potential. He didn't rise to the occasion in Indiana and Houston but really found a fit in Toronto. If given time, Burke could be a slow burn like Lowry.

Well, I hope Raptors' GM see it that way. :D

I'm probably looking at this all wrong but I remember MEM trading Lowry to HOU and seems like despite his production he had issues meshing in HOU (also Jazz did beat him in the playoffs) so off he goes to TOR where for the first time seems like he is a player worth keeping. Patterson who many here liked in the draft as a back up PF was drafted by HOU traded to SAC and then off to TOR.

This is probably my dislike of HOU but just seems like we'd be taking HOU's castoffs and I don't like that idea or feeling (again I admit I'm probably looking at this in the wrong way).
