What's new

2015 NBA Playoffs

I don't know about you guys but it's quite hard for me to believe that one of these teams are gonna win it this year.

No Spurs. No Heat. No Lakers. No Celtics. No Dallas.

One of these 'pretenders' are gonna be crowned. Think about that for a second.

It's strange to me too (but kinda cool). I don't think any of these teams are as good as those Championship teams you mentioned tbh (unless GS can get back to the same dominance they displayed during the regular season).

Part of it has to do with injuries. OKC has been an elite team for years and they were completely taken out of the picture because of injuries. Then Love goes down and suddenly the East's closest thing to a potential powerhouse becomes a Cleveland of old team.

I believe it. Every time a tournament starts, someone eventually wins. That's kind of the purpose of tournament play.

Feels kinda like "Survival of the Fittest" this year with:

- Chris Paul missing playoff games

- Mike Conley's facial

- John Wall in and out of games

- D Rose recovering

- Cleveland without Kevin Love

- OKC already out of the picture cos of Durant

- Ageing Spurs

- Heat without Bosh.. etc, etc, etc.

The winner will still deserve it, but to me they'll also be known as the team that survives this injury plagued season the best. That's kinda cool in a way too I think.

I really didn't like Howard's body language from the tip. Dude looks exactly the way he did his last days in the purple and gold. The guy is one of those traditional coach killer losers. When things are going well? He's a good player. But as soon as there is any resistance from the other team the man folds quicker than my lawn chair. He has already quit on McHale and the rockets.

This series is over

My point is that LeBron was basically the Heat and LeBron is basically the Cavs, so the Heat are basically the Cavs.
Your point sucks doe

His team resembles the ****ty Cavs teams that he left more than it resembles the back-to-back Champion Heat.

I like it. I'll love it when the playoffs are an oddity because of the Jazz winning a series.
The playoff results so far are sure making me wish the Jazz had somehow sneaked in. There was a time after the All-Star break when it was looking like a possibility. If they'd made it they would have had a legit shot against these remaining teams. Of course, in order to be alive at this point they would have to have defeated GS, but let's not make too much of that minor detail since Memphis has some similarities to us and they are doing the job so far. Go Jazz!

Not really. Pretty similar teams before the Love injury.
Well we aren't talking about the team before the Love (and Irving) injuries. Right now his team is more like his old ****ty Cavs teams... Like I said. LeBron alone doesn't make this team anything like his championship squad.

It is though....
