How much do you like Duke?
I think he'll be a great RB, but it sucks he got drafted to the Browns.

Walt perrin said the jazz have tiered the draft to four players in the first tier, five in the second, and seven in the third. Who do you think they are? I think RHJ and Booker are in there.
The difference between Dray and Johnson is 3 inches in standing reach, but I do catch your drift it is significant. He does compare favorably to Jae Crowder though who plays the stretch 4 in spots. I think he will be able to play stretch 4 most nights but against post up bigs he might struggle. He will have more offense than Draymond imo and still may grow a bit... most men finishing growing by 20 years old and Stanley is almost 19.
At very worst I think Stanley will be a rich man's Jae Crowder... I'd take that at 12.
I also think there are potential discrepancies in this test. D' Angelo Russell is 1.5 inches shorter than Stanley and his wingspan 1.75 inches shorter than Stanley's yet they have the same standing reach. Can someone explain how this happens? Does it have to do with flexibility or something weird. The other weird one was Devin Booker and Kelly Oubre... both have the same standing reach yet Oubre is an inch taller and has a wingspan that is 6 inches longer... I'd want to retest those two if I brought them in.
I doubt there would be discrepancies at the combine, watching it on TV they take it serious and it's a very clinical affair. Wingspan is more than just your arms, it includes your whole chest. Oubre's actual arms might only be 1 inch longer than Booker's per side, and that number can be easily explained by higher sitting shoulders.
Great player? Exactly what is your definition for great?
My big question is both simple and very hard: What is DL's priority? Is it to build the #1 defense in the league (perhaps at the expense of better shooting), or is to improve shooting (and do as little harm to defense).
I don't think there should be any question about this. The impact of Gobert is such that it makes it much easier for our perimeter defenders, because they don't really have to guard against players driving past them. They can concentrate on guarding the perimeter and if their guy gets past them, he'll either get swatted or he'll chicken out and reset. Because of this we shouldn't be looking for guys who are great defenders, but limited offensively. Utah needs to improve their offense, and more specifically, we need shooting.
Devin Booker, Sam Dekker, R.J. Hunter, etc.
He's not a shooter bro.
This is really a misconception. If we don't have decent perimeter defenders, teams don't need to get into the paint. They just shoot from outside. Or Rudy leaves his man to cover and the ball is dished to the opposing center for an easy basket. There were plenty of times Rudy was posterized last year.I don't think there should be any question about this. No love for R.J. Hunter? 19-25 from NBA three at the combine. Went to Georgia St., feels like the next great player who started as an unknown.
That's really not that impressive. Open gym, uncontested, in rhythm. I have done that by myself without being fed the ball. It's fine but nothing to get all excited about.
