are you two at each other again?
NAOS is mad he can't get my goat for some reason. He dosn't like my "punish cheaters" approach and wants to pretend it is something else.
Who knows.
are you two at each other again?
Not giving you the response you wanted does not equate dodging the issue.
My stance is the same it has always been. One you conveniently ignore.
If any team, including the Broncos, get caught cheating they should be punished.
But then you knew that, as I had said it at least twice, and are simply playing games.
None of what you've said justly acknowledges the FACT that cheating is endemic to the NFL. At bottom, the NFL doesn't even really have any interest in a cheating-free league; rather, they have an interest in the IMAGE of a cheating-free league. Do the necessary research and you won't be able to avoid agreeing with this.
When I taught at the university my most popular class was on drugs. My students had to complete a quarter-length research project, and many chose topics on performance-enhancing drugs. Many of those students chose to focus on the NFL. Over time, I read most of the papers they cited. The case is closed: the NFL is jammed full of drugs. And there are negotiations between the league and the NFLPA that deal directly with how to keep them out of sight but still pumping through veins.
Anywhoo, this is just one example. If your heart wants a game with integrity, then you need to turn off football. Over the years, the Patriots have been subject to more scrutiny than anybody... probably more than half the league combined. Spygate was something everybody was doing (like drugs), and a former assistant coach ratted them out (where is he now by the way?? He stepped on the snake... got spit out into ESPN... and where is he now? He can't get a job in the league anymore precisely because the other cheaters know they can't trust him). Deflategate is another sideshow... just ask Aaron Rodgers.
And none of that changes the FACT that the Pats cheated, got caught and got punished. Rightfully so.
If it makes you feel better you can change Pats with Broncos and I'd still 100% agree.
Cleveland can't rely on Smith like that all the time. It has to be Irving.
I think I know what our problems are. Our communication problems. I'm making a ton of assumptions about the interesting things you might be saying... at times when you aren't saying very interesting things. We all say unimportant things from time to time, so it's all good. But, yeah, if that's your position, then Cool, brough.
not trying to condescend.
So, let me get this straight, you aren't willing to recognize the Patriots dominance anymore without an asterisk, right?
And your position on deflategate is: they cheated and they should be punished. Right?
Just want to be clear.
I'm not going to take a "hard look" at my communication style around here. Well, let's put it this way: I'll take as long and as hard a look as you (and a few others) take looking at your own sensitivities, authenticities, moral codes, and boredom. In other words, if you (and a few others) try to be 10% as interesting as babe, then I think you'll find me pretty agreeable.
You feeling charged??
babe isn't interesting because of the length of his posts or his "field".
We all make assumptions. All of the time. Rivers of assumptions. It isn't so bad to assume people are interesting until they prove otherwise. That sounds kind of optimistic, actually. And you have said interesting things, which is why I go back to that well.
I CERTAINLY WILL!! Isn't Manning gonna give it one more go-around? I hope they have enough juice in his veins to keep him on his feet.
Is it just me or does he remind anyone of Jackie Chiles ... the lawyer from Seinfeld
NAOS is mad he can't get my goat...
So... NAOS stomping his feet proclaiming "I'm ALWAYS right and everyone else ALWAYS is wrong"?????
Yup, just another day on Jazzfanz.
