Following potential 2015 draftees

Isn't it hilarious how NBAdraft.net has had us drafting Sam Decker from day 1 and hasn't budged. That website has gone down hill.

As far as I'm concerned there is no room for Johnson on this roster. He's a limited shooter. His 6-6 size will limit him defensively. Damnit we need Dekker!

If SJ is limited then Dekker is uber limited... SJ shot better from 3 point line, and free throw line while averaging more rebounds assists and steals... btw he just turned 19 and Dekker just turned 21.

Si.com now has the Jazz drafting WCS at #12.

Opinions on Cauley-Stein are all over the map. As limited as he is offensively—and no tweak to his shot is going to make him much more than a finisher and maybe a decent baseline/elbow jump shooter—his defensive upside is enormous. The Jazz could use another big (when was the last time we said that?) and Cauley-Stein can slide between both frontcourt positions.

Johnson seems more suited to the college game while I think Dekker is more suited for the NBA just my opinion

I'm surprised DX has Porz going #3, but hey you never know Orlando took AG last year at #4 when they were supposed to take Exum.

And bless them for it.

I don't see the top 3 being anything other than Towns, Okafor and Russell. After that. . . all bets are off. There's no telling what New York will do. I'd assume that they'd go with any of Windlow, Hezonja or Porzingis, bug there's no telling what they're thinking.

Pretty sure you can have a 3 man big rotation and have them all get 30 mpg.

Also pretty sure one of those big men has a scary injury history.

Which is why it was stupid to take him top 3. They might take Porzingis. I'd certainly take one of Towns/Okafor if Russell goes top 2. I just don't think it's a good way to build your team.

With that said. . . I'm a big believer in trusting your system and drafting BPA with every pick. Finding talent is half the battle. Get talent into the building and then let the coaching staff figure out how best to utilize their skills.

Porz to Sixers makes sense.

He does have more potential than Russell and the Sixers are all about potential.

He doesn't have that much more potential than Russ... I'm not sure that is true. At some point they need to start building an actual team. I'd be surprised if they drafted him... Could see them moving down and taking him though while collecting other assets. They've also been rumored to love Mudiay.

I'd be dancing with joy if we land any of Johnson, Turner or WCS... Dekker - not so much...

Me too. Seems like these finals are turning the popular logic on its head. Cavs are winning with a traditional lineup. Draymond is not looking like a playmaker. But i doubt wcs falls to us. Larry Bird already told him he thought he was a $100 million player.

Big men 3 years in a row? At some point they need guards and wings.

Those come in years 7,8 and 9 of the rebuild. Just be patient.

In other news...Does the emergence of Delledova change the draft? Are GMs more likely to pick gritty, basketball players with average measurements over measurement outliers who are only average at basketball skills like Barnes.
