Seems pretty fluid and athletic.

Can finish with either hand but is a lefty.

I love this breakdown by a scout from the Russillo article on grantland today. This and Peltons love for him makes me want to find a way to get Hunter.

"Not a special shooter. He’s good because he makes free throws, and that’s a barometer for me. If you can make them, it’s a sedentary shot, and it speaks about your stroke. You have time and you are compact. There’s a routine and a rhythm. Make free throws, you can make shots. Here is an example: [Georgia State’s] R.J. Hunter, I think, shot 87 percent from the free throw line [.878] and 29 percent from 3 (.305). That was this year, but in the past he was better. So we are like, This guy can make shots. For whatever reason, he didn’t. But I’m not going to discard him as a shooter, because his stroke is too good.

We watched Hunter in a workout, and we were like, This guy can really ****ing shoot. Then you watch tape and you are like, Man, why did he take that shot? I get that the shot-clock-ending shot, you got to ****ing take that one, but 10 seconds left and you are squeezing one? You are like, Hmm. You’d have to ask him and watch tape with him. Ask him what he’s doing.

I’ll never forget Ray Allen telling a story. You have no idea how hard it is to attempt 20 shots in a game. Try to get 20 quality shots? It’s impossible, no way. When you are the featured player, you are defended differently. Your goal in a game should be getting something he called “free looks” on wide-open shots, and make six of them, knowing that the other 12 are going to be contested, and they are so ****ing hard to make. You might go ****ing 3-for-12 or 4-for-12, but if you go 6-for-8? OK, now you are 9-for-20 or 10-for-20, and you’re whole again. So, on the night, you are 3-8 on your free looks and then 3-for-12 on your contested ones, then you have those ****ing horrible shooting nights."

Binge listening to all these Locke draft podcast... and I just can't stand his obsession with Trey Lyles.

Boy, I swear, if he brings up Trey Lyles one more time.... !!!!!!
Yeah, how dare he like a player from this draft. It's like he's on Jazzfanz or something.:o

Looks interesting... he seems like a scorer rather than a shooter. He looks fluid indeed. I like how he can score off the off-foot too... Seems like a player who understands opponents reactions and uses smart moves to avoid their contests, seems crafty inside... either that or... level of opposition makes it seem really easy for him to finish inside.

BTW DX posted a video and report on Cedi Osman:

RUMORS:Suns offering 13 pick and Bledsoe for Knicks pick 4

New York would be REAL stupid if they didn't take that deal.

Bledsoe is coming off a year where he played 81 games and averaged 17, 6, and 5.

They have wanted to move down for some time now. If Towns, Okafor, and Russell are gone who are they going to draft anyways?

At #13 they could get their guy Payne or draft a big like Lyles or Kaminsky.

A Payne and Bledsoe backcourt would be nice especially in today's NBA. Not sure who Phoenix is targeting? Porzingis maybe?

I'd rather have Porzingis or Russell than a max contract Bledsoe and the 13th pick.

A Bledsoe/Payne backcourt would be awful. They are both about 6'1. It didn't work out in Phoenix with Dragic, who is a tall and very good PG, it's not going to work with a rookie like Payne.

Bledsoe doesn't fit the triangle, though... Payne is more triangle friendly player if they can get him, but I wouldn't rely on that since several teams in top 12 have expressed serious interest in him.

Ehh, you don't pass up a sure thing plus another lottery pick for a top-5 pick especially if the top-3 is gone.

What did I just say? Towns, Okafor, and Russell are gone in that situation.

If Russell is there you don't make the deal, but if he isn't you do.

Bledsoe is locked up for the next 4 years at 14 mil a year. Once the salary cap rises, that contract is going to be nice.

Lol what? No, you take the swing, especially with a #1 talent like Porzingis.

Hell no, Bledsoe, Carmelo, and the #13 pick could make the playoffs in the east. That's without adding any free agents.

I just don't see how anyone passes up on the talent of Porzingis for Bledsoe and the 13th pick. That would just be an awful move.
