What's too much?I don't care enough to waste an asset on it. Now if it was to trade up for Hezonja/Porzingis/Russell I'd lose assets within reason in order to get those...

Boston and Lakers are interested in moving their late 1st round picks ala 27th and 28th.
I'd take Aaron Harrison at the end of the first round. He's gotten underrated, imo.
I think our core is untouchable right now. In the core I include Exum, Gobert, Hayward and Favors. It would depend on what position we would want to jump to in order to get those. I think top 4 is a mirage and not worth trading up to. Top 4 draft picks will require us to send them Favors or Hayward and I would NOT do it. I think that eliminates the Russell possibility and quite possibly the Porzingis possibility.What's too much?

If we are trading up to 8-9(for somebody else - not Hezonja, Porzingis) I wouldn't give up more than 1 additional late first and 1 additional second. That's just the trading rate and I don't see why we should be setting precedents of overpayment for 3 spots jumps in the mid-late lottery.If the opportunity to chase one of those guys evaporates, I'd toss a couple chips to move into the top 10.

You mean Andrew?
Aaron is ****ing awful.

I completely disagree (assuming the asset is protected future first, or OKC pick). Get the guy you want and believe in, don't wait for the leftovers.
Hows about trying to swap 12 for 13 whilst finagling Bogdan Bogdanovic from Pheonix for lesser assets??? (Who wont come to the NBA for another 2 seasons til his rookie scale is up)
Dude shot 39% from 3 this year including;

He may not actually wait. He is apparently in Phoenix now talking with the Front office and Horny.
Stanley Johnson has apparently refused a workout with Charlotte. He wants either Detroit or Miami. The implication is that the Hornets are committed to MKG, and he doesn't want that situation. Johnson *might* have a promise with Miami at 10.

That's the thing, I like all of them about equally and whatever the difference is in my evaluation is not worth a first round pick in my books. Now if they like one of them a lot more than the rest, it changes things, but from my perspective it's not worth it.
