Trading Favors might turn out to be the STUPIDEST move in recent history- even worse than not keeping Matthews. Jazz need 15 mins behind Gobert. Favors could fill that and be the best backup 5 in the league. He then plays 15-18 at PF, leaving 30-33 mins for another PF. Trade Derrick and Rudy is likely pissed off too. I thought those two were BFF's. Perhaps there is something we haven't heard about. Maybe Derrick is unhappy Rudy is getting all the rebounds and all the attention.

Derrick has never seemed like a malcontent so doubt there is anything behind the scenes. Likely Millers being cheap knowing they will need to max Gobert and Hayward again and don't want a team full of 10 mil + players.

Millers cheap? Lol! They've been in the luxury tax a couple of times and well over the cap until DL decided to blow up the team and rebuild. Even at that, the Millers took on an extra $20m+ in salary to acquire additional picks. Sorry if you think being cheap is not having crappy vets signed to long- term deals.

I'm late to this but my answer is yes. If you can get Porzingis without losing any of the core (Exum/Hayward/Favors/Gobert) then I would do it.

I won't say it's certainly worth the risk because Numberica will get his panties is a wad.

If Okafor were to fall to 3, apparently the Celtics would try and make a big move for him, Including Olynyk and a ton of other assets.
 
Today is the day we've been waiting for! Hoping for Stanley or Turner but WCS is a nice choice as well. I can definitely see a trade happening but that's the fun in it - anything can happen. Stoked for the 2nd round picks as well as there are some interesting names up for grabs there also.

OKC made it apparent they wanted to move Lamb, Jones & Novak. I will be impressed if they trade the other two for anything other than 'making the numbers work'.
