What's new

Donald Trump

Made me sooooooo happy when Farage lost his parliamentary seat & resigned. What a ****.

F 2) My beef with Farage isn't his economic policies-- it's his very racist stances on social issues. If that equates me to a Commie, that speaks to your level of intelligence, education, and knowledge.

And please do share what his racist stances are. I'm guessing anybody that points out the bad that comes with unfettered immigration is a racist in your mind so this should be fun.

Maybe it's the presidency itself that is ridiculous. Congress needs to neuter the executive branch. This kind of power in the hands of one individual is antithetical to American values.

One time I ordered a delivery pizza and told them my name was "Tronald Dump".
Lol. Good username for ya

Our pot of candidates is truly and saddenly mind-blowingly awful. Embarrassing.
This.
I hate the election and politics in general.

Any of these baffoons publicly support the legalization of recreational Mary J?

If a democrat says something like this it's no story.

I noticed the context in this discussion about Trump being a breath of fresh air, more or less, for speaking the truth, and then you say you expect him to say this. . . . .
The whole point was that trump is NOT a democrat doe. (He is currently a republican)

You clearly know nothing about British racial politics if you're arguing for a man who lost his own parliamentary seat in an election of a party he was leading. That's telling enough. You would know that he, his party, and his adversaries have tens of pages filled with racist vitriol that doesn't belong in the 21st century, and it's reassuring that they got their assess whooped in the election this year-- and this vitriol isn't exclusive to "We shouldn't allow unfettered immigration!!!" (which is a policy that literally every ****ing nation on this planet upholds).

The problem with you bringing a quote up like this in the context of Trump.....is you seem to think we haven't already received what we deserve. And that's scary. Because I don't see a decent president looking back over my lifetime. Hate the lot of them.

It doesn't matter, we're getting Bush or Clinton unless they die or something before the election. The game is rigged. My betting window is open to any and all that want to take field while I take Bush/Clinton.
Aren't you the one that always gets your picks wrong?

Count on Bush and Clinton losing lol

You're basically stuck with the farther left (like Bernie Sanders, who's repeatedly argued against the war on Drugs and has legalized possession of small amounts of Mary-J in his home-state already) or the libertarian right-- i.e. Rand Paul.

A democratic socialist, or a libertarian. That's the choice that America has left you with :D

So nothing of substance from you then again, huh? Just claims and claims. You're just repeating the typical tripe of the English press. He's racist....because he wants Britons(nationality, not race) to have jobs over non-Brits. That's not a 21st century value, mate! Good golly, miss molly. You should probably stick to Canadian problems. That way nobody challenges you because it's as Farage said about Belgium, "pretty much a non-country".

Stop playing dumb. UKIP is akin to the green party in the US or something. They don't have this grand history and political duopoly to rely upon. Nobody seriously thought they were going to be getting crazy amounts of votes in any election so far. They have however changed the debates - which was their intention.

Vote libertarian.(GaryJohnson) He won't win but at least you will be voting for the CEO of a marijuana company.

Oooh! Calling Canada a non-country! Oh mann that riles me up so so much!

like I said to Cy yesterday-- if this is the level of 'intelligent discourse' I am receiving regarding a political figure who is officially irrelevant, then I am better bowing out before I lose another minute of my life that I wish I had back.

Really hoping you and your (predominately white) counterparts vote for Trump. Guarantees a fractured Republican voting-base, ensuring left-wing political victory for at least another 4 years.

Ciao.

I'm gonna jot this info down

Thoughts on Bernie as the democratic candidate? Just really starting to look into the candidates this year and I know he's one I hear about all the time from my peers (college students). At first glance he's the one I prefer, but obviously he's appealing to all my current issues (student debt and what-not) so I want to hear what some non-students think of him.

Thinking of going back home (Iowa) and getting involved in the primaries again (was a county rep or whatever last time around, everybody else was too lazy to do it, so 18 year old me it was).

Asking a Utah-based forum what they think of Bernie Sanders?

This should be good.

For a lot of social issues great. For economics and foreign policy bad.

In all fairness you didn't back up your claims about Farange at all. Him losing his seat is not proof of his alleged racism. (I know nothing about him so I am not saying he is or is not a racist)
