Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

Pleiss finished with 16 pts(8/12 FG), 6rbs, 1 ast, 2 stl in 25 minutes of play, playing against Gortat. In some situations Gortat was quicker than Pleiss and he had trouble containing him, but overall (especially offensively) he held his own against a legit NBA starting big.
Once again, thanks for the updates. You are the best

It'll be interesting to see what Q and Co. can do to his defense. I hope they can at least make him AWARE (which would give him a leg up on Kanter). Awareness + Favors/Gobert covering for you + playing against backups = a good place for him to start.

I think he is aware in D, he rotates and gives help defense, he's just physically slow moving his feet laterally. I think he does have the desire and awareness to defend, he just might not be quick enough to be great defender. On offense he makes passes that Kanter would never even contemplate.

Just turned to the France game. See Ajinca in. Is Gobert playing?

Yeah, their standard rotation has been Rudy plays usually to about 2 or so minutes left in the 1st, then comes back with 4 or so minutes left in the 2nd. Ajinca usually plays like 4 or so minutes each half, sometimes they go with Ajinca and Gobert instead of Diaw/Gobert to end the 1st.

Does Belgium have any NBA prospects at all? They are spanking France.

Not on this team, Their youngest players would've been auto-eligible for the 2013 draft. The best(only?) prospect from Belgium plays for France on the youth levels.

This is France's 2nd game in a row though, so they might be resting players?

They just interviewed De Colo at halftime, and, to paraphrase, he said "I'll be honest with you, we really have no shot in most games without Rudy Gobert. If we want to guarantee victory in every game we play, we will play Gobert all of the minutes and we will mostly just get out of his way. Rudy Gobert is the greatest person, athlete, humanitarian and basketball player this world has ever seen. Thank you."

Now, take all that with a grain of salt since I don't speak a word of French.

Did you at least hear Gobert? If so i believe your translation is correct.
