I think when it comes to governor against governed, people are more ready to fit into the new concepts of political images than one would think. As long as the campaign is not pushing ethical limits or getting lost in philosophical paradoxes to find some uber-notion, but instead keep it real and have the guts to say the things undoable and being honest about mistakes and really actually working and thinking for the good of the people, I don't see a reason for people to ignore someone or some movement just because it doesn't apply the same methods of the previous politicians.

I cannot disagree with this. It's the main reason I love listening to Bill Clinton speak as ex-president. I want nothing more than stright forward candidates running as you describe them. I call it putting the ******* back inside the box. Most politicians are pretty legit good people when they choose to do so.
