What's new

Game #11 Toronto Raptors at Utah Jazz Wednesday 18 Nov 2015 @ 7:00pm Mtn

He blew by Hayward. Cant put that all on Rudy. Quin said that dunk was not on Rudy but the defense that allowed him to get to that spot.

Hay got blown by 5 times by my count. Really disappointing that he couldnt stay in front of his man.

The way he moves it looks like he's aged 10 years. There's got to be something wrong with him. He's still really good on D, and if his shot were falling we wouldn't be talking about him, but he is just so different than last year.

The dunk makes me feel like Hayward has kinda been **** on the perimeter. But I think it's just me.

On top of Hayward's defense on Derozan shots, you know Derozan gets to the line nearly 10 times a game and he just got 2 attempts on Hayward?

And on the Derozan dunk, if you watch the screen Scola set on Hayward to free up the catch, it was definitely a moving screen and Hayward let that rattle him, as you can see him complaining to the ref. He definitely lost focus for a second and Derozan caught him. The other times Hayward was purposely funneling Derozan into certain locations.

He looks a little slow, but did the best job on DD. DD kept driving into Hood's body and getting easy 10 footers... Burks was bad on him too. Hayward does seem to be moving slow. I think added weight (even though it is muscle) and the foot surgery he had may have him moving a bit differently. Overall I think he gets back... but something seems a little off.

Every damned screen Scola sets he moves or pushes... I couldn't believe they let him shove Hayward into DD or Carroll and gave Hay the foul on it on one of them. He's got those Stockton/Malone dirty tricks in his bag.

LOL - I remember when AK got away with the ultimate flop on Scola against The Rockets in the playoffs to sew up a Jazz victory.

Poetic justice at it's finest.

Maybe it goes back to that nasty flagrant against Portland. Hopefully his back is not still bothering him.

I noticed one timeout where Hayward looked like he was really laboring walking over to the bench. Was near the end of the game, I think. On the dunk, I thought he just lost concentration a bit, looked like he just wasn't ready to move at all.

I didn't watch the game but woke up very pleased that we won. The next five are tough. I'd be quite content with 2-3.

Has he even had a chase-down block this year? He was pretty much second to only Lebron at that.

The spacing of these games is decent. No back-to-backs. Mostly at home. Looks pretty damn good.

I'm thinking 5-2 over the next seven would be righteous.

There is no team i would like to beat more than the clippers. I'd quite possibly trade a number of other games for that W. They've beaten us like 12 games straight.

And what's the outlook on Durant for Monday's game?

5-2 over the next 7 puts the Jazz at 11-7. If that is our record after November than the Jazz will make the playoffs. January and Feb. ease up quite a lot.Barring injury of course.

The Season series with them was done before Kanter left last year. Should be a better matchup this year.

Who would've ever thought Burke would be shooting as well as he is. Now when he shoots I'm surprised when he misses. Maybe he is the black Jesus. First time I've ever called him that here on Jazzfanz. It's never quite fit him in the past.
So you're saying that he has risen from the dead? ;)
