Following 2016 potential draftees

So you think he's going to be something like Brad Beal without the injuries? I don't. I'm waiting to see how tall he measures at the combine too.
Interesting comp. I honestly wonder why he can't be Beal. Similar measurements and athleticism. Can really shoot it and create his own.

He is not as big as Beal but he has better handles on the ball... We will have to wait and see a few years from now.. I wouldn't bet against a guy like Buddy who has the work ethic and chip on his shoulders.

Mason will outplay Tyler tonight. It is a good matchup for Mason.. One that he does good against... Question on this game is which Perry Ellis do we see? This a game he could dominate. I don't expect Murray to have a good game.Wayne Selden will play him tight since Wayne is the better athlete. Kentucky will need to run him off of screens for his jumper is nice.Kentucky just isn't very good this year. Calapri just isn't a very good coach when it all comes down to it. He is a recruiter. He has had a team like this a ffew years ago. Talented on paper but struggle all year and then lost to RobertMorris. Cal is all recruiter. I said it long time ago. Ullis I really like but think this a bad matchup for him and a good one for Mason.

FWIW - I'm taking UK and the points tonight. If Frank Mason outplays Tyler Ulis i'll be extremely disappointed. Should be an epic day of college ball, a day that will shake up the mocks for sure.

Odd year for CBB for sure, there's only like 11 teams in the power 6 conferences with 4 or fewer losses..

Calipari has a higher career winning percentage than Coach K.
I never argue whether he's a good x's and o's coach. He's obviously one of the greatest recruiters of all time and a hella motivator.

I like what Cal said when asked if he considers himself a great in-game coach. He said, "I have no idea. I just like to recruit the best players, field the most talented team and from there I like my chances. I really don't want to find out if I can coach."

Having said that, peep the roster he had at UMass. That was an incredible coaching run.

REason Calpri will never go to the pros is simple. He gets exposed as the **** coach he is...When Kentucky is about to get put on probation he will leave however. That is his #CalsMO#

Funny you mention
Umass yet I cant see what his results was with that team? Where are the record books? I see they won 0 games

coach K is ten times the coach that Calpri is... Coach K doesn't MULTIPLE final fours vacated.. He also has more titles. Izzo is a waY Better coach then Calpri

If true, he's kinda like Karl Towns in Jahlil Okafor's body(at PF)... no?

Thought you would like this.

Watching the LSU v Sooners game Ben Simmons is really hard to gauge as an NBA prospect. He's good at so many things, but weak at 3 core NBA skills.
Shooting and as a result finding space where he's comfortable.
Moving off the ball isn't really his thing tonight. Is he good at it in general?

Yeah he's really good at basically everything except for shooting, he is most dangerous with the ball in his hands.. Very impressive by LSU collectively in this one so far.. Lotta time let though..

Ye but his lack of shooting will be amplified in the NBA, when there's not three 6'3 guys on the field with 6'3 3/4 wingspans.
Like everything dies down when ppl with good bodies guard him, or in his case guard someone else unless he's within 10 feet from the basket.
If he was engaged off the ball, they could either mask it by letting him run "unibrow-curls" while catching it on the run or using as the last passing option for deception plays. With his length he can see and pass over defenses so well.

I'm still curious about Quarterman as a NBA player. Pretty inconsistent but I also feel Simmons has hurt his stats this year. When he has good game they are very good.

Maybe, but if you put him on a good shooting team his other skills will be amplified by the spacing. He is a PF, he doesn't have to be an amazing shooter out of the gate with the way he rebounds and runs.

THat's fair. He's pretty skinny, but most nights that won't hurt him. And his team is gonna suck anyways unless it's one of those teams with 1% odds winning the lottery.

Skinny? Are you serious? The dude is built and has an incredible frame for a player his age.
