Sources: Atlanta has shut down talks on guard Jeff Teague with several suitors -- including Utah and New York.

**** Atlanta. As if they're going to be able to hang onto Teague with Schro coming through. Delusional morons. You aint getting Hood idiots, give it up. Burke and a ham sandwich is about as good as it'll come.

The Rockets have been making calls in the last few hours checking to see the value of PG Patrick Beverley, sources said

GIVE THEM BURKE AND A PICK!

There is no way we make it past San Antonio and GSW without someone like Bev at the 1. Pls. Sign him up DL.

Here's a question. . .

We're all focused on PG (because it's the team's weakest position), but IF the Jazz were able to package Burke/Booker for a wing or front-court depth, would you like that or not?

It goes to the question of whether it's more important to fill holes or add talent. Thoughts?

Beverly has a kind of 'nasty' that I wouldn't mind adding to this roster.

Fill holes, without a doubt.

There is no way we make it past San Antonio and GSW this year.

Fixed that for you.

Teague, Conley or Hill might make things a little more interesting. Lawson or Linsanity could bring some excitement as well (if they were to catch fire and play like their old selves). . . but the Jazz lack the star and experience to beat either of those teams in a 7 game series. Beverley has some nice skills that would fit well, but he's not going to tip the balance.

It's a sliding scale. Talent being equal, you acquire the player that fills a hole. But if we could swap Trey for Beverley or Trey for Dwight, it's an easy decision. There's a tipping point somewhere in between.

3 and d!!!!!

BTW, I called this an hour ago. Bev, Brewer, Ariza and McDaniels should be the guys to maybe be dumped.
