Anyone for Cousins?

Maybe second cousins. But I worry if this becomes the norm it would hurt the gene pool.

He is a top 5 player talent wise, in the NBA. Tempting. Big time. Could you convince him to play hard here? I dunno. But you have to look into it. If someone can figure this kid out, they will have one of the best players in the league.

This. I probably take that risk.

I worry about Cousins work ethic...he clearly has the talent. But it seems like he may 'phone it in' so to speak. I worry that his 3 point attempts has jumped up to 3 a game this past year. Maybe is doesnt wanna bang down low, and instead take easy jump shots.

It all depends on what Sac wants...cause he has the talent to be top Center easy

If Van Gundy gets Houston job, look for Harden for Cousins swap.

I know its not what you said, but I just thought of those two ending up on the same team somehow. That would be the biggest screw up ever. I bet Cousins would rip off Harden's head after he didn't pass the ball to him 10 times in a row.

Do you think Cousins would want to play and live in SLC?

Because I do not.. Plus yall love to rip on players and former players and if you did that with Cousins, Well I bet none of you would be that stupid.

Plus why you need Cousins? I thought Gobert was a top 5 center in the league? That's what I heard all last summer. Plus imagine Hayward and Cousins on same team? Because I can not.

I dislike Cousins a lot. A trade for him would scare the **** out of me.

That said it might be a risk worth taking depending on what it takes to get him. If we could trade Gobert, Burke and some picks I would go for it. Maybe some other picks and Burk. If it took giving up too much more, I would not go for it.

If we did trade it might be easy to pick up his buddy Rondo on a 2 year deal that gives time for Exum to develop off the bench and with a lineup of decent shooters in Cousins, Hayward, Hood and mid range shot of Favors a good 3 point shooting PG is less important.

That trade would be a huge risk though but if it panned out and you got those players to play hard you have a team that might just compete for a title.

Rondo - Exum
Hood - Burk
Hayward - FA
Favors - Lyles
Cousins - Withey

I think Quin would either make Cousins great and work or would get Cousins to beat the **** out of him before the season even starts.

They already fired George Karl .It's Cousins team now.A happy Cousins could totally dominate and be a top 2/3 player .Best move Sacramento did getting rid of Karl.

If Cousins said he wanted to play here and play for Snyder, I'd trade a lot for him.

Could you imagine this lineup:

Exum
Hood
Hayward
Lyles
Cousins

Wowza. That is one heck of a team. Especially if Exum pans out. So, basically, I'd trade Favors, Gobert, Burks and Burke and our pick.

Cousins is a cancerous toxic deadbeat. He'll always be a headcase despite being a sublime talent. He'll never be a winner

U do realize he plays for the Death Valley team of the NBA team, right? He has had to endure his entire career in that waste land of a team. I fear what he could/would do in even a decent situation. Cousins definitely doesn't get a fair shake from fans. If u played your career in in Sac. as lon as he has you'd be jaded too. I recall his first few years, he was there only decent player and he could never get the ball. It was every man for himself. Sac is a place where players and coaches go to die, and it's an accomplishment that Cousins is as good as he is. He's the top center in the game and would help just about any team contend.

I would trade Gobert and hood and this year's pick and GSW's pick for Cousins

Exum. Mack
Free agent. Burks. Ingles
Hayward. Free agent. Ingles
Favors. Lyles
Cousins. Favors. Lyles.

The Jazz have plenty of money to to replace what we lost in the trade for
Cousins. Cousins Favors and Hayward would make one hell of a three headed monster.

The three man rotation of Cousins Favors and Lyles would be deadly and fit like a glove, and all can play with the other. Cousins can play outside with Favors and inside when Lyles comes in.

I would do this in a heart beat, and it would be an environment that would make Cousins happy and very productive.

Death Valley is one of the most popular (and, by that metric, SUCCESSFUL) National Parks in U.S. History. So, you've authored another bad metaphor (to make another hurried point).
