Guess I should've said some gawd awful forsaken desert stranded with no food or water with buzzards circling above, with death in the air. When you do eventually die they will never find your body because no one in their right mind would go there and your bones would be buried in sand.

How's that for a metaphor, NAOS?!

I usually can't read your posts unless they come in bundles of three. That is, three consecutive posts. And more exclamation points, pls. Also, please make sure that, per usual, your writing voice is the equivalent of a burning sphincter.

If anyone's getting Cousins it's the Celtics. I don't think the Kings move him though

Or maybe the metaphor referred to something other than park's popularity? Like maybe the paucity of water? It made sense to me anyway.

Still convinced NAOS forgot to log into an alt on that first post about being nice to people and just decided to roll with it.
 
I've intentionally stayed out of this thread being genuinely curious what people here would say about the topic.

Tbh, it has given me renewed faith in this message board for having some decent level of objectivity.
I truly expected to only see complete bashing of boogie. Glad to see some balance.

I have said REPEATEDLY... Cousins really needs a coach, PG, and fans that show him love. Immature of him? Probably.

But watching him play his FRESHMAN season at UK was an easy glimpse into what could be. Playing with John Wall (with whom there was tremendous mutual respect) and for Calipari (with whom there was tremendous mutual respect) along with a fanbase that ADORED him... he was happy. Still calls Lexington home. Not for the nightlife, not for the social scene, but because he's always been rejected his whole life.. until Lexington.

Sound immature? Kinda, yeah.. but if I were an NBA franchise and understood the recipe, I'd start baking.

If I knew Cousins could be a team player I'd trade almost anything for him. With a good coach and point guard he would easily by our go to scorer that we need
 
I could see Snyder being "coach enough" for Boogie. But Exum has too much to prove, for Boogie, I'd guess.

After watching the Jazz this year, though, I'd love to see Boogie fix 80% of our offense all on his own.

his relationship to Karl Malone isn't really that indicative, IMHFO
 
Yeah, I'd give quite a lot for Cousins. One of Gobert/Favors and one of Hood/Burks with a pick or two, not really sure how much Sac would be looking for.
 
Not so sure SAC wouldn't prefer Favors over Gobert. I don't think it matters much. I could see Cousins pairing well next to either.
 
I've said from day one that cousins would be a guy that figures it out on his second or third team. Problem is we don't have the personnel, infrastructure, or leadership to help him corral that. He needs to be with a guy like KG who's been there or team like the heat that has pat Riley, Dwayne wade and a real program.

I just don't think we are a match.
 
George Karl was a ****ty hire... He's had issues with many of his star players and sold ownership on working with DMC to get the job while the whole time he planned in trying to trade the guy. Karl was possibly one of the worst hires they could have made. No idea why they didn't keep Mike Malone.
