I worry about the same thing. The one thing that has me very intrigued (I hope that it is true) is that he reportedly has a very high motor and is a gym rat. Those two things combined with the player development staff tat the Jazz have me slightly dreaming of what he could be.
 
I think Thon will go higher than most are projecting.
I would take him at #12.

Too much upside.

He could be an ELITE shot blocker, rebounder, and has nice probability of a stretch 5.
 
Funny, I was one of the very first to question Thon when the world had him on a pedestal. Now that the world has dropped him to 20's in the draft, I love his game.

No one can agree after 2... I think there are quality prospects but everyone of them has questions. I like Hield but he was a grown *** man playing against boys. I like him at 12 but 3-7 I have questions. Every guy in that range has legit questions. I personally like Murray but he's not terribly athletic and is kind of a combo tweener. I like brown as much as I like luwawu... I just think it flattens out quite a bit.
 
Louisville bigman CHINANU ONUAKU is out of the draft. Was projected a late first early second round pick. He was diagnoised with a heart issue at teh combine. He had surgury today.

Chad Ford :Tough news for Onuaku. Glad Combine doctors caught it. Had moved up into a bubble 1st rounder with play at Combine

Wow.. I am literally in a hospital bed about to have the exact same surgery in one hour. Doc says only 4 in 100,000 have Wolf Parkinson White.
