Nice to see others jumping on the Beasley train.
Beasley is just the most boring of all the wing prospects.

Worth posting again in light of the Richardson discussion:
For comparison, here's his highlight reel by the same youtube channel as Malachi's that Cy posted.

I like both of them, honestly. Beasley is the better athlete and wheeeyyy more efficient, but Richardson has better size, which definitely counts for something (and is more in line with DL's draft history: Leonard, Gobert, Exum). If they're going to be available in the 20s, then I'd love to trade down for one of them and Maker (via Philly's 24th and 26th picks).
Since when are elite athletes who shoot well from deep boring?
Ehh. Not saying he is a product of a up-tempo system, but he plays in an uptempo system. Richardson played on a slow-*** Boheim system. Willing to bet Florida State is top 50 in the country in tempo, and that includes smaller schools no one cares about.
Since when did Beasley become an elite athlete?
The dude was too scared to do athletic testing at the combine.
Worth investigating.
Even when you adjust for pace, he still is one of the top rebounding guards in the country.
.Beasley does a lot of damage in the open court – 26.9 percent of his offense, according to Synergy Sports – by using his speed to sprint to the rim and his explosiveness to catch lobs or hammer home tomahawk dunks. Although not the most polished ball handler, Beasley is more than capable of grabbing a rebound and getting to the front of the rim himself. Florida State plays at the 30th-fastest pace in the NCAA, according to KenPom.com, and Beasley's athleticism is a big reason why.
Good stuff. Although, the language of that quote suggests that their high tempo is a result of Beasley's athleticism, not that his production is a result of the fast pace.
They were the 39th team in tempo last year.
IDK what the difference is from 30th this year to 39 last year, but it cant be that much.
Probably.
You know how slow Syracuse was this year?
This guy sounds athletic from what the article says
Interesting thought - the relative lack of quality in this draft might be a good opportunity for moving up and getting a player the FO really loves. It might be relatively cheap to move up in this draft and there might be multiple teams willing to do it.
Outside of the top 3-4 I don't think any player is worth losing assets for, but the Jazz might have their own favorites who might be available for a cheap price in the 5-10 range.
No, but they were 175th last year (https://www.syracuse.com/orangebask...lay_problem_expect_syracuse_vs_clemson_t.html)

According to Tony Jones the Jazz love Marquese Chriss.
Christ
He seems really explosive vertically for sure. He doesnt seem as athletic as someone like Burks though. He seems like Ben McLemore athletic. IF he isnt in the open court, you arent going to notice it.
