Following 2016 potential draftees

I wouldn't have minded picking Poeltl last year in a much stronger draft and Poeltl has taken a step forward, so if he drops to 12, I'd be very happy picking him.

Poetl is super un-sexy, in the super long, spread the floor NBA. Its easy to envison a scenario where he drops to the Jazz, but I don't know if they would take him at 12 just to be a back-up to Gobert.

Our front office seems to be best player available types. A backup role is ideal for him for the next two years. We can figure things out from there.

I think you take him if he falls even if it's for the reason that he would be the best trade asset.

Poeltl interviewed with most teams in the lottery at the Combine, except the Jazz. I'm not sure he'd want to be here as Rudy's back-up. But a trade could make some sense. Again, I could see a deal with the Bucks happening, especially with the Zanik connection.

Half Right half wrong

Not good as a kid to go max out when your lifting. Do smaller weights and more reps.

There will be no right or wrong in this discussion because there is conflicting research but doing 80-90% of your one rep max won't hurt anything if done with proper form. Doing a ton of reps can lead to some reoccurring motion injuries and won't produce the results of overloading the muscles.

That said trying to do too much weight can lead to bad form. It's really just about doing the right lifts the right way.

Wut? He is a 7' with quick feet, isn't that what is in?

Well he is not much of a shooter though. I still remember the game where Sabonis absolutely killed him. I am not sure I would not take Sabonis before him. Sabonis really started to show some good shooting form by the end of the season and is a good FT shooter.

Single game and single matchup is probably not a good criteria to use when picking a player for the next 8-9 years. With that said, I like Sabonis too... he's just so solid overall... Too bad he doesn't have elite size and length.

He absolutely dominated the post in college. That is a skill that usually translates to the NBA. He'd fit in well in the second unit next to Lyles. And creates a great asset moving forward. If he's there at 12 u take him

He's a competitor he will come in and compete. He's a ball player with not of Kanter's idiocy
I thought his hands were good but the feet and lateral quickness were in question. Maybe ive watched or read about too many prospects and I mixing them up.
Think he means good feet in the post, none the less for a 7ft center he is quick on his feet.

what is funny about it? Sabonis did man handle him in the tournament game.
Utes were the higher seed even and Sabonis put Zags on his back and go the Victory.. Eveyrone talks about how Sabonis is short and no wingspan well shouldn't that be a c concern for the other guy then, Since he struggled and got out played by the short wingspan and unathletic Sabonis? High BBAll IQ can take you a far way.

The entire Gonzaga team outplayed the entire Utah team, I wouldnt take away much other than the PAC-12 is a conference of teams that choke. Poetl however is a great player and probably the 3rd or 4th best player in the draft.
