Following 2016 potential draftees

If Jazz want Murray they might be able to get him via Boston's 3rd pick IF they give the Celts Hayward.

The drop off from Hayward to Hood is more than made up by the addition of Murray.

I don't think hood can play the 3... Murray is a 2 who can slide over to pg. I'd want to retain Hayward... I think he's a better player and does so much that is tough to replace. I also think he stays with us past next year.

I do think Boston would absolutely trade the third pick for Hayward... I'd want more.

Well, you're in the majority, but I'm ok with disagreement. I'm not happy with Hayward as our #1 option, but most people think he's great and does things that don't show up on a stat sheet. Or the win column. :p

according to DX:

Hayward is 6'8"
Rodney is 6'8.5"

Hayward wingspan is 6'7.75"
Rodney wingspan is 6'8.5"

Both have identical standing reach 8'7".

Hayward Max vert: 34.5
Rodney Max vert: 36

I agree Hayward is a great defensive player but I think Hood has the numbers to be pretty good defensively too. I also think Hood is offensively superior to Hayward. Just my opinion.

I think it has less to do with length and more to do with girth and will.

I really like Hood btw... I could see him turning the corner and being our best scorer. I could also see him struggling with injuries and inconsistent shooting long term.

And Hayward is much stronger and a more versatile athlete. Hood has admitted he doesn't even know how to jump off of one foot on offense.

What??? Hayward is a 20/5/4 guy who plays very good (great?) defense.

Murray has played one year of college and while he's a killer shooter, he sucks on defense, isn't big and isn't athletic.

So he cancelled his workouts with a team with the 13th and 15th pick in the draft. That has to tell you something.
