My concern is that he had one good month. You take out December (I think that's when it was), and he was a 30% shooter from deep. I just don't see it. I'm sure I could make myself like it if we did take him though. I would prefer Furk, and I don't need to mention who I really want.
We could just get the real Nick Young for nothing... Hell LA would give us stuff for taking him on.
Richardson is the only guy I really don't get and am so out on him at the 12. Skal I at least would understand, but would still not be happy with.
He's got some tools(he seems strong for his age and has good length), also his shooting stroke looks good. He also can create a bit offensively, good at creating space for his jumper(I don't think we really need more offensive creation on the wing with the other 3 wings being pretty good at that). The problem is he takes way too many ill-advised shots. I don't know... if a coaching staff can coach him out of it, I guess he can be a good player, but that type of players usually stay that way. It's taken us 5 years to teach Burks out of his one dribble into the 3p line pull ups. Now imagine that on steroids in traffic.
According to Chad Ford's latest big board, here are all of the players the Jazz have interest in:
Dejounte Murray, Jakob Poeltl, Skal Labissiere, Furkan Korkmaz, and Malachi Richardson.
The ceiling for Malik Beasley, Wade Baldwin, Denzel Valentine, and DeAdndre Bembry is the Jazz at #12.

I don't think the Jazz are nearly as secretive/manipulative as people around here say. There were rumors that we really liked both Exum and Lyles before drafting them. There was also word before the 2013 draft that the Jazz thought there was a foreign prospect that was a major sleeper (Gobert). Peeks also received info before the 2013 draft that we were going to aggressively try to trade up and that the target was Burke. So teh Jazz are drafting none of these players.
I was referring to Richardson.
Although I do think Furk doesn't create that great (he's a straight line driver), he does have a lot of potential. Biggest thing for me is his frame and his defense, and hopefully with his age those aren't huge issues.
Seriously?oh wow. Deandre Bombry's brother was shot and killed yesterday.
Seriously?
