2016 Draft Workouts!

Couple that with high turnovers and a 48 TS% and Murray scares me. I love his talent, and his highlights, but his IQ really scares me and I don't think you can fix that.

This narrative that you have to be smart has nothing to do with basketball talent.I'm sure theirs plenty of smart guys cheerleading from the bench, seems they end up being coaches later on.
I'll take Dejaunte's speed and length alongside Exum's length and speed. If Dejaunte ends up with Jazz they could be a very fast and skilled unit (Exum,Hood,Burks,DMurray)

Lots of guys have great talent. Nick Young for example, Burks to a lesser extent. They legit have talent to be stars. Instead they're average to almost net-negative players (Young definitely is the latter, Burks the former). Why? Because they lack basketball IQ. Knowing when to shoot and when not to, and knowing what's a good shot and what isn't. It is incredibly difficult to be a good NBA player without having a good basketball IQ.

Would have liked the Jazz to do individual workouts with Korkmaz and Skal. Glad they got Maker in though. Give me Korkmaz and Maker and I'm a pretty happy guy.

Just want Maker or Zizic. I won't get either, but I like most of the guys who will be there. So won't be super excited, bit should be fine with the pick.

I don't see the Jazz drafting Baldwin. Sure if he was some can't miss talent like Exum was, they could overlook the no workout, but there's a lot of guys they worked out and liked.

Maker's draft position might be the single most interesting thing to look forward to in the draft (other than who the Jazz take, of course).

Maybe they will coincide and make Jazz' draft the most interesting one of all teams'. :P

Re Maker: It just seems odd that people are calling Deyonta Davis this great athlete who blocks shots and has the potential to shoot from 18 feet, and they won't say the same about Maker.

I seriously hope the Jazz draft Thon Maker, I seriously do. C'mon Jazz, take a swing at 12 and run away like bandits. I am certain he will be very good. Sure it'll take a couple years but he will make it up big time at the end. When I look at him, I see a great draft prospect; a hard worker, a competitor, a lot of heart and determined to prove people wrong.

I watched DX's strengths video on Maker fully expecting to see a great athlete. Came away pretty disappointed. I think he's an OK athlete, but certainly not a great one.

He isn't as good as some people would make you think, but he is definitely a pretty good athlete.
