Something frustrating about the draft is that I have a hard time finding good highlights of players. I cannot watch all the games and I can get some highlights on a game by game basis, but I also look for something to showcase what they can do as a whole. Unfortunately all you get from youtube and even draft websites (nbadraft.net is a good example) are film of everyone contstantly dunking. Dunking. Dunking again. Oh wait, did he just dunk that? Wow look at that another dunk. Hey I think he is going to dunk this one...yep he sure did.
If they are a long-range shooter just substitute shooting in place of dunking and it is all the same.
I want to see what a player can do in transition, can he create his own shot, how are his ball-handling skills, how does he handle a double-team, what happens in the post, how does he get out of traffic, what are his moves (post, cross-over, etc.), and so on. So often all you get is an 8 minute video with heavy hip-hop music with plenty of F-bombs and bitches and nothing but every single dunk the guy had in his entire collegiate career, often the same mind-numbing dunk from 4 different angles, in slow motion, in black and white and sepia, and all the chest bumps afterward. And so often all you get is the dunk finish, the moment he actually throws it through the hoop. Not even the pass that set him up or the dribble he took beforeheand, but just the dunk. Wow, how insightful. A 6 foot 9 inch guy that can jump high enough to get his hand over 10 feet in the air. Imagine that.
So anyone know a source where I can find better highlights?
