Dennis Lindsey: We will be VERY active in free agency

Ennis is better than s hill and you get him at nearly a third the price.

Pelicans apparently disagree, and they're the ones that saw Ennis the most.

So I'm skeptical. As much as Hill was a reach based on limited data, Ennis is so much more of s stretch. Plus while he's athletic and strong, I've not seen much indication that he's really regarded as a 3/4 hybrid. Everything I see says 2/3.

But at a good price, I'm good with rolling the dice on him. Just not sure that I'd expect him to jump Ingles in the rotation.

Dallas is almost in that position where they need some names but no players to jeprodize lottery pick standing...Trey would be a nice fit.

Trey Burke isnt a name unless you are a Michigan sports fan who hasnt paid attention to the NBA over the last 3 years.

So @Gambo987 says Dudley has been offered 2 years for $18 million by Brooklyn. Shopping for more with Suns/Utah.

2/20.... Get it done DL. I'd be happy with that.

Jazz don't need to beat that offer. Just match it. No one should want to play in Brooklyn right now if money is equal.

Definitely don't offer any free agent 3 year deal. 2 years is fine.

I would definitely offer 2/20 and perhaps off a 3 yr being a Jazz option. Nevertheless, getting Dudley around that price would be another solid move.

Conley got paid. Scary amount of money too, NFL players are probably all shaking their heads after seeing these crazy amounts today.
What did Conley get? And from who?

I like that deal. Hopefully the jazz can offer the same money and he comes to play on a better team

Ya this.
Beat me to it

Howard get 3 year 70.5 million from the Hawks. Made me laugh to read Evan Turner say he was surprised at how big his deal was with Portland.

The other option, of course, is simply pinch pennies this offseason, kick booty next year, and chase legit max free agents next offseason.

This right here is the correct answer. One year deals or value shopping. Teams that mess up their cap space for next year are going to regret it.
