Did we ever find out what all the particulars of the Hill trade are supposed to be? I saw the Hawks were busy scooping Dwight Howard's numb nuttery, and it renewed my interest in what the final pieces were going to be.
As said already it will be announced on the 7th. But I was looking back through old tweets and I found one from Adrian Wojnarowski that was interesting. He openly said "other pieces involved". Hmmm... I hope those pieces are coming our way.
I don't get the "Exum is mentally weak argument". In fact, it is quite dumb. Exum practiced everyday. Exum was aggressive in practice. And he failed.
So, because he knows he isn't very good at a certain skill, he is mentally weak? Because he'd rather win than drive to the hoop and turn the ball over, he is mentally weak?
Bull crap.
It's as valid as "he failed".
Haha
Two of the biggest lies on Jazzfanz are that Exum is mentally weak and timid and that Favors plays with no Passion and Fire.
A couple of years ago I paid close attention to Favors for an entire game that I attended. IMO his body language did show a lack of passion and confidence. I did a similar thing at a game last year. I was impressed by how far he has come in that respect. I'd still like to see him take another step. If he had Karl Malone like passion and confidence I believe he could become capable of producing Karl Malone type results. Two of the biggest lies on Jazzfanz are that Exum is mentally weak and timid and that Favors plays with no Passion and Fire.
The report I saw said they were trying to free up cap room; hence the desire to get future assets instead of draft picks. But it was moot since it then came out Horford doesn't like Howard. The only report came out was taht Atlanta was looking to move up in the draft with both picks. They didnt watn to get rid of the picks.
Don't look at the sample size, but George Hill posted +9.5 on/off and +25+/- numbers in the playoffs... he also kept Lowry to under 40% shooting in every single game in the playoffs(3/13, 4/13, 8/21, 4/12, 3/11, 4/14, 5/14).
Shot 56% from the field and 48% from 3.

Sir, as a fan of the game and someone who is more than likely watching the game from home, how do you measure passion and confidence?
You look at his pants. If you can see his wiener through his shorts he has passion and confidence.
My post said I attended the games so what do you mean by "from home," and I'm talking about body language.Sir, as a fan of the game and someone who is more than likely watching the game from home, how do you measure passion and confidence?
Um, gross.

I didn't claim to have done some sort of comprehensive study. I believe that you probably know the difference between confident behavior and tentative behavior (for example), but anything can be misinterpreted. Maybe Favors has always been an ultra-confident ultra-passionate guy and I have simply misinterpreted it.Well, I think you're one of the smarter dudes on the board so I'm guessing you'd observe Favors in multiple games and most of those would be from home. And since passion and confidence are usually mental attributes, how do you measure those things from body language?
