A truck drove into a crowd at Bastille Day ceremonies late Thursday in Nice, France, killing a least 77 people, Regional President Christian Estrosi tweeted.

Here's what we know:

• The attack happened on Bastille Day, a major holiday in France. Victims had been watching fireworks on the beach and were walking down a promenade, either back home or to their cars.

• One witness said the truck driver appeared to accelerate toward his victims

• The driver was killed by French police, authorities said

Update:

- The Driver was also shooting into the crowd as he drove into the crowd.

- The truck was full of ammunition and grenade

- Death toll now up to 84

Yep, except trucks are used every day millions of times around in useful ways. Transportation, distribution of goods, like that. The purpose of guns is to kill and only kill. That whole conservative argument is ****ing retarded. Tighter restrictions, better background checks, and so forth need to take place. End of story.
 
No ****ing way it's ISIS. They are way too dumb to come up with such a simple plan. Probably a French postal worker.

Guns are used everyday to protect people. Guns have provided you with security and freedom.

ROFL. Take your meds. My original point was conservative's logic is ****ing dumb. That's it. End of story. Everyone should be able to have guns...so long as they pass a very strict background check. People can ****ing wait an extra week or two to get their gun. If they need it that quickly, let me tell you, they have bigger problems than a gun will cure.
