OMG! Sanders might be an atheist!

Welp, all this makes me feel a bit sorry for Bernie... in all honesty I do like him more than Hilary. Why? At least he seems honest...


I also think he is a better opponent for Trump. This and the email scandal would really hurt Hilary this close to an election.


Any chance the Democrats can go back and nominate Bernie now? Probably not...

It's tough to say. I think the goal if I was in America was to continue to voice displeasure with the Democratic platform and the nominee for Dem VP, seriously threatening to vote Green the entire way.

I figure the fear of losing the Sanders base (as Trump inevitably starts crushing Hillary in the polls) will bring in some pretty big movement to the left. If there's no concessions whatsoever I honestly can't see how I wouldn't vote for Jill Stein, even with the knowledge of Trump wanting to keep my people out of America (preventing me from watching Jazz games in the process). Jill Stein has every right to spoil a Democrat victory if all that party is going to do is yell things like "America is ALREADY great!" and provide no hope for America's working class.

The potential for 3 more Republican justices in the supreme court is a weird wrinkle, and an uncomfortable one. I suppose I would have to look into the history of how much obstructive power the SCOTUS has in terms of going against both popular opinion and the wishes of the Congress & Senate in terms of the decisions that they've made.

I can't believe these ****ing morons stacked the deck against the only candidate bringing in swaths of independent voters.


The only joy I see in this whole situation is the bewildered looks on those ****ing idiot talking heads who are completely out of touch with the life of the regular American. Both Republicans and Democrats deserve the disasters they've inherited this year. I hope both parties fracture.

During the RNC convention when the delegates were chanting in reference to Hillary, "Lock her up! Lock her up!" analysts on all sides were saying they were going too far and that it wouldn't play out well the American public. Now, at the DNC convention there are delegates chanting in reference to Hillary, "Lock her up! Lock her up!" Wow.
