Is Russia Helping Trump?

If the deleted emails contained only what Clinton claims you would think she'd have responded with a shrug and said, "I doubt Putin is as interested in my yoga schedule as Donald apparently thinks he should be." That would have been awesome. Her supporters would have loved it. Unfortunately, even the most ardent of them know in their hearts that the deleted emails contain all sorts of things that Clinton has claimed they do not.

I hate you for putting the image of a Yoga pants Hillary in my head.

these Russia links are so ****ing stupid. A repurposed GOP strategy of yesteryear.

Ugh I hope the DNC splits after this election

You don't see the deception that the publication of these emails revealed? Wow.

As I have pointed out, I don't know of any actions taken revealed by these emails. Can you name even one, or are you too busy being aghast to bother with evidence?

This sounds like unsubstantiated assumptions.

What would you do if someone said something unsubstantiated about trump?

Y'all(both republicans and democrats) are missing the bigger problem with the deleted e-mails. It shows contempt for the Freedom of Information Act from Clinton. A law that her husband signed. This law was a hard fought battle in which the people won a measure of oversight over the government. Hilary has neutered the FOIA both legally and politically. Even if everything that was deleted was technically legal and she hadn't anything to hide from the justice department she still has done a great disservice to our country. Nixon is the new normal and you have Clinton to thank for it.

Of course you would think it's appropriate of the Democratic Party to be taking actions behind the scenes which are exactly the opposite of what they are saying publicly. I wonder how you would react to it if it was revealed that the Republicans had done this? The irony is that the Dems might have ended up with a more electable candidate if they hadn't done it, and the Reps might have ended up with a more electable candidate if they had done it.

As for being aghast, nothing surprises me at this point. The corruption is disgusting, and the fact that good people no longer think it matters is discouraging.

And I love how revulsion over Hillary Clinton can somehow make Russian hacks and Russian interference in American elections seem like a good thing, something for which we should be somehow grateful. Yes, Putin is doing this because he wishes only the best for us, he wishes to strengthen our democracy. Of course.
Putin is our dearest friend, and we should encourage more of the same, and, what the hey, why stop now:

My goodness, what a paranoid scaremonger I've become.....

Take the Russian claims out of it (especially since we don't know if they are real). Imagine that the emails had been from the RNC and revealed a plot going on behind the scenes there. How would you feel about the information being uncovered?

Personally, I am for transparency, and I think it's a good thing when we learn about people who are doing the opposite of what they are claiming to do.

The FOIA doesn't app;y to private emails. I agree that mixing them on a private server was stupid.

I'm still waiting for all the condemnations for all the Republican members of Congress, and all the Republican governors, who exchanged official emails with an address at clintonemail.com.

I don't think it's appropriate all. What actions did they take? Can you name one yet?

You mean, sent emails to blow off steam? I probably would not care. I expect it from Republicans. :)

I know what they talked about doing. I don't know what they did. If I was running for their nomination and they were telling everyone how fair they were being with me and then I discovered that they were having these conversations behind the scenes I'd be pretty pissed. Bernie is being pragmatic about it. He knows that he's not going to get the nomination handed to him by making a big stink about it. The way he gets the most is to brush it all off and handle it with dignity. Still, that doesn't make it right.

And how you are able to see those emails (at least the ones I read) as an appropriate way to blow off steam is beyond me.

The DNC emails were horrible. And the head of the DNC has resigned. Seems like we got a look at some dirty politics, which is good, got rid of the person directly responsible, which is good and fit anyone who believed that the Democratic party was made up of angels and the Republican party was made up of demons got a nice reality check.

Can I not like the fact that Russia interfered in our presidential election now or do I have to acknowledge more positives about the leak first?

Trump does not need the emails.
Trump needs to Trump.
He is a fighter an a winner he will square this thing away.
Hillary is a insider she has been exposed.

The FBI recovered state department e-mails that Clinton deleted. Those are not private. The only person to ever claim that she only deleted personal e-mails was Hilary herself. That statement turned out to be demonstrably false.

Nobody (as far as I know) said there was anything good about the Russian interference. Also, you might be interested to know that the person who the DNC got rid of for the email scandal immediately got a new job. Hillary hired her.
