For me trump, dnc, emails, ballots, and russia are just variables inside the issue/problem.
It could be china exposing George Bush for sleeping with a 12 year old during the last election and messing with the voters back then. (That's just a made up hypothetical for a random example with different variables)
It makes no difference to me. Other countries messing with our elections for their own reasons will always concern me and anytime it happens I think we should be upset about it and our authorities should investigate it and try to do something about it.

What if an American group of some type exposed this hypothetical info? My guess is that you would feel the exact same way that you would if it had come from a foreign entity. I believe that the whole foreign entity interference thing is really just an Anti-Trump talking point of the left because they believe that tainting him with the Putin association will be good for their goals.

So if Wikileaks info turns out to be the result of a hacker who is an American citizen then you will say, "Oh, nevermind. I'm no longer concerned about the impact the release of that information had on the election," right? After all, all that matters is the citizenship of the person who exposed it, not the information itself. AmIRight?

My stance is that I don't want other countries being involved in my election.

I have no problem with corruption being exposed. The "how" it was exposed matters to me.

This is what I have said over and over again in this thread. I have always thought you have a good head on your shoulders..... I'm starting to think you are more like dutch and boris than I ever would have thought.

I like you a lot even though you think I have news on my shoulders (whatever that means). I definitely do not understand your obsession with the foreign entity thing given that we know foreign entities (just like domestic entities) will gather information and use it to their advantage if they can. That doesn't make me a bad person.

That's the sad reality I eventually came to. Used to have a lot of respect for Joe, but he's def on my bottom 10 posters list these days. He makes HUGE assumptions about what you mean when what you say couldn't be more clear. Every post he's essentially calling you a liar.

I don't consider myself to have an obsession with foreign entities. This thread was discussing russia hacking into the emails of Americans and messing with ballots and trying to influence who gets elected as our president.

I simply don't want other countries being involved in our election. Doesn't seem that unreasonable or obsessed to me. Apparently you see me as someone obsessed with foreign entities for not wanting them to help decide who our president is.

I'm ok with you feeling that way even if I don't understand it. It's all good. I won't try to convince you otherwise.

I agree 100% and have not seen anyone insinuate otherwise so I'm not sure that it needed to be said.
