Is Russia Helping Trump?

The answer to your question is obviously no. I can't imagine that you could find anyone who thinks it should be yes. It's an incredibly silly question.
I have just heard a few people saying that Russia uncovering corruption and issues with the dnc is a good thing. Like we should be thankful.

So if that's the case then why not have countries continue to help us uncover corruption going forward?

Just wanted to see if you felt that way too. Glad to hear that you don't. Thanks for the response bro.

Please.

I consistently described her as a pretty standard politician. I said she was competent. I said she'd be pretty predictable and essentially more of the same, which I was perfectly okay with compared to the ****ing clown show Trump is continuing to be.

Let me describe "standard politician" for you. Someone who is essentially dishonest, self-interested, tells people what they want to hear, makes empty promises, knows how to play the game, knows how to work with other standard politicians for their mutual benefit and not necessarily the benefit of the people.

Since politicians are typically the people who hold political offices I'm okay with politicians. It doesn't mean I hold them in high regard.

But Trump isn't a standard politician. He's a demagogue. He's petty and small. Every bit as dishonest as any politician, he's just too unskilled at the political arts to keep us safe.

I'll take a standard politician over Trump any day of the week and Hillary Clinton fit that bill. I absolutely did not build her up as though she was amazing. I simply refused to agree that she was some demon woman. Big difference.
All I can say is that your opinion of what your post said sure doesn't match my recollection of what they said. I remember several posts that were effusive in their praise of Hillary. Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else.

Whether russia did it or not.
My stance is still that I'm against other countries influencing, interfering with, or having any involvement in American elections.

This is fantasy land sentiment. Events will continue to happen throughout the world and they will influence our elections, no matter how you or anyone feel about it. Russian spies and Chinese spies and other spies are going to continue hacking our systems. When they succeed they will look at the info and then attempt to use it to their best advantage. You think it's possible to make a law against that?

Some people seem to believe that in the case of these hacks it can somehow be determined that the Russians did it and that their motivation was to get Trump elected, so therefore we should reconsider. I see no proof of any of this, only theory. The one thing I can see proof of is that Hillary and her cronies were trading some very disturbing ideas via email. That was a very bad decision on their part and I'm glad they got caught doing it, no matter who made the discovery. If Trump and his team ever do anything similar I hope they get caught too. And I'm glad Trump got caught on that open mike oogling women. It tells us what kind of a man he is, and because of the office he was seeking, we have a right to know. That info would have prevented him from being elected had he been running against any potential candidate I'm aware of other than Hillary. Bad move nominating her, Dems.

So do you disagree with my post? I cant tell. In one post I asked you a question and you answered no and said my question was silly. Then i post my stance again, which has never changed, and you seem to take issue with it and maybe disagree.

We don't need to worry about Russian hacks unless we are using our systems to find cheap sex.

Wait. . . . .

Maybe we really do need to investigate Hillary, Bill, and the DNC. . . . .

i heard now obama is blaming the media bias against hillary!

so its not the e-mails or the russians, now its the media!

You forgot to say obummer and you didn't use the word "liberal" in your post.
Are you ok?

There's obviously been a lot of talk about Russia and it's raised a lot of questions for me, as follows:

- If the Russians can hack an election, presumably changing its end result, why are we so certain Russia or other foreign agencies didn't hack a server in New York State?

- How did the exposure of the Podesta emails shape the election if there was 'nothing to see' in the Podesta emails?

- In what pertinent ways would Russia have rigged our election by showing how the DNC rigged their election?

- If we all need to look at what the CIA has said (or hasn't said) about Russian hacking because they are a trusted authority, why was the FBI considered a rogue agency when it raised questions in the other direction?

- Why is it that after the election we're now all learning of the content of fake news stories that reportedly helped shape the election?

- If the Russians helped Trump win, were they also responsible for the Republicans keeping the House, the Senate, and many gubernatorial seats?

- If voter fraud is so incredibly rare, as we've been told, and if concerns over electronic voting security was dismisssed as tin-foil hat nonsense, why such a quick 180, calls for recounts and questions into accuracy of electronic voting when there's concern of the Russians meddling?

- In 2012 when Obama was on a hot mic telling Medvedev (who said he'd "transmit this information to Vladimir") that after the election he "has more flexibility," was allowing the Russians to meddle in our next election the type of flexibility he was talking about?

Your question was something like, "Do you think we should go out and find a country to influence our elections every time?" The answer is no, of course we shouldn't do that. It seems like a ridiculous thing to even ask. The reality is that all sorts of entities will come on their own every election cycle, without invitation from us, because if they discover information there is a good chance they will attempt to use it to their greatest advantage. To think that they won't is naive.

To all of those who are so upset about the supposed Russian intervention in our most recent election, what do you think we should do about it? Make a law against it and put the Russians in jail? Go to war? Invalidate the election? Cry about the result? I can't think of a single action that we could take makes sense. I think it would be a good idea to move on.

Increase our cyber security and take offensive (cyber)action against proven offenders. That's what I think we should do about it.

You jackasses keep acting like we want this to change the outcome of the election. Please join reality. Please wake the **** up! Trump will be the president. No one is even talking about that. that's not the issue. If what you want to do is say "haha Trump's the President bitches!" then go ahead. But if you want to have a voice at the big boy's table maybe you should figure out that's not what we're even talking about.

Some of the ****tiest winners in recent history. Let us all know when you're done rubbing it in that you managed to elect a ****ing clown to be President of the United States.

that wont help if the russians relaly hacked. hacking will always happen

funny thing is wasn't it the paranoid republicans who wanted to curb election fraud.
by requiring photo-id, and prefering paper ballots! but they where called racist and technophobes!
hahahaha

ALL ELECTIONS should require photo id with nationality and paper ballots! and no its not racist and technophobic! whatever the hell racist means these days.
because i see it as a compliment lately to be called racist or deplorable

but then the democrats cant use there lazy excuse

does michelle obama knows she gets to keep secret service protection the rest of her live? o even if she goes back to chicago she is safe no matter how strict gun laws get.
elitist socialist woman(trust me what i was gonna say is far worse, but the "ministry of speech" is watching me)

To all of those who are so upset about the supposed Russian intervention in our most recent election, what do you think we should do about it?

Easy.
Try even harder to prevent it from happening and try to make there be some consequences.
Maybe try to figure out the reasoning behind the hacking and what they are trying to get out of it and stop them from getting what they want.
Definitely investigate it as much as possible and gather as much info as possible.

What we shouldn't do about it is act like they have done us a favor, or look the other way and just sweep it under the rug and don't talk about it. We should take it very seriously.

This.
